Wily all the cummins ISXs have a lift fuel pump. Turn the key on and let the pump run until it shuts off. That pressurizes the fuel filter and the acuators.

Instead of Cajun them breaks all the time Wylie you can take the plug out of an air tank, install a shutoff valve with a female fitting. Run some air to it to release them brakes. Makes it a lot easier than all that cranking on them air Chambers. Battery operated air compressor will work as long as you can get 100 to 120 lb of it. As an Old wrecker operator that's what I used to do.

@@DontbeWily even if you get a cheap Little harbor freight compressor that runs off 110 you can use a small inverter and run it off the battery and strap across the back of the truck if need be. It'll work in a pinch but I wouldn't drive it down the road 🤐

When the brakes are rusted to the drum take a pry bar between brake shoes Backing and the drum on the slacks adjuster side with the brake backed off

i tell ya. the 9400i isnt eye candy but it's a great working class truck. its unassuming and gets the job done. and it appears to be in really good shape. i always wonder about rigs like this. why was she parked? is it worth fixing? those are rhetorical. i hope she finds a good home and does what she was born to do. great video Wiley as always. god bless.

Another good video. I'm thinking you need to reconnect the intercooler so the turbo can pressurise the air intake to get the correct fuel/air mix. The ESU will be tearing its hair out trying to make the correct calculations 🤔😊😊

Caging bolt are in the boosters to use to release the brakes never take the cover off without using the bolts to work on booster

Wiley believe it has bad injectors. Heck of a fuel knock and dumping fuel thru the exhaust. I believe it can be repaired and make a good old truck
