He is complaining about how the Sheriff cars had 250K + miles on them but bought his secretary a brand new 2017 Ford Explorer, the says he has Captains making 50K in salary but pays his secretary 62 K.....then he decided that for the first time in 34 years the budget meeting needs to be out of town, so they go to Charlotte for this all important meeting and spend 45 minutes talking about the budget and the rest of the time is spent drinking in restaurants and bars.

Where can you watch the “investigation questions?” You aren’t talking about when he was an officer, spitting incessantly into the spit bottle, are you? That was literally years earlier. He resigned shortly after that interview with IA. He then later ran for sheriff. He won. THIS was the result of his being sheriff.

Just think of the testimony this guy would have had if you would have been a stand up guy like he talked , with his family, he could have just been faithful to his wife and his story was the ultimate get back. Bad experience when he was a deputy. According to him railroaded and left as a deputy only to come back and get the top cop job. Blew it and let his family down for a piece of ass. I think He is full of shit, I think he went by the old law firm as a new sheriff to flaunt his new power to a women he worked with, who was young and hot and probably felt unappreciated working for a guy that was a mess. He probably told her how great of a job he would offer her.( he had motives) Old sheriff was looking for a good employee with benefits. He went back to his old job and scalped the talent. I think she had it figured from the start but misjudged the trajectory and ended up flying too close to the sun. She got intoxicated on what her relationship to him provided (money, responsibility, attention, title, clout…etc.), and the intoxication lowered her inhibitions. She thought he’d climb to a cruising altitude and then level off…she thought she could manage it at that altitude. He never stopped climbing, took things so far past where she thought they’d cruise…the air got too thin, she struggled to breathe and had to bail…and that was that.

That interview was years earlier. It’s confusing to me how people don’t know this. If you watched even a portion of that interview, you clearly see first that he was significantly younger, but more so that what they were talking about had nothing at all to do with this.
