Most people start to grow their hair out because they want to look and feel different. So going with the most proportionate look is not always the best idea. I have a diamond head shape, so my forehead (and my skull in general) is pretty huge. For so long I hated that, but at some point a started to appreciate it, and then I quickly started loving it. It gives me so much character. When I had long hair (I have shaven it because of curiosity, but Im on my way back), my favourite look was when I had a high manbun with a little hair shaven off above my burns. This style basically allowed my unique features to shine. My face wasn't proportionate, but it wasn't grotesque either. It had character. And I think that is what really matters if you want long hair

bro i have a diamond shape an a huge forehead and i just can't seem to muster up any confidence in it. I cant wear manbuns or anything at all because i'm anxious that people will judge my forehead. How did you get the confidence for it?
@6969ThaKenYngeRRR
@6969ThaKenYngeRRR 3 жыл бұрын
@@d0k4g3 well, for years I've worn fringe's and hats, until I realized how stupid it was, to wear hairstyles I never liked, only for a meaningless reason. Its not about having the confidence to pull off a look that you want, but going for what you really want, so you can have the confidence. Its sort of like stage fright. Every time I go to perform, I start to get thoughts like: Im not good enough, I will fail, they are going to laugh at me. Then I realized that this is absolute bullshit. And at the moment I realize its bullshit, suddenly the fact that people are going to look at me, and think about how I look like and how I act, is totally meaningless. Maybe I objectively look better with a fringe. But I absolutely look better with a swept back look plus the confidence that came from the fact, that nothing really matters, so why should I care what other people think

Is it normal that hair becomes thin as you grow it out? I have long thick straight classic type of hair. I'm growing it out for 3 months now. And I notice that I can see my scalp when being directed to light. Especially at the center of the front hairline (not on temples, temples look so fine) or is it just because i have a whorl at that part? Also, I lose about 10-25 hairs every time I wash my hair. Is this still normal? Or should I consult a dermatologist? P.S. Any tips for better hair care routine? I wet my hair everyday. But only using shampoo and conditioner 2-4x a a week. Thanks for the response 😊

Another thing I want to add that you didn’t mention is that your overall head shape can play a factor too. Because I have a mixture of an oval and round face shape, but I have a flat ass head in the back so doing short haircuts with shaved sides ain’t it for me. Makes my head look like an old military dad. But any other haircut that adds volume to my back side evens it out and looks good, which is why I’m growing my hair out lmao.

Hello bro! I have a question... Let me explain first. I've been shedding for years. After more than a decade, I see some thinning on the top of my head. The strange thing is than this loss or thinning is visible on the left side unlike the right side which has more density 🙄... I went to a dermatologist and she told me that it was androgenetic alopecia without even touching my hair... I wasn't convinced since the whole story was about shedding. It was falling like heavy rain, before shower, during and even after drying my hair. The worst I was shedding too much even from what is called " permanent zone". I did blood analysis and the surprise was " D vitamin level was very low". After starting my d vitamin replacement, I noticed a huge improvement. Hair shedding decreased a lot...after years of massive shedding!!! Now my question is: is it possible to regrow some hair or at least to improve my existing hair? How much time is needed to see the difference bro? Thanks and sorry for being too long!!

I'm currently in the process of growing my hair out. Not gonna go too long, just long enough to where it will turn into kind of like a shaggy haircut. I'm pretty much doing it just to see how it would look on me. If I don't like it, I can always cut it off. I would have to say my face shape is kind of oblong/upside down egg. 90% of my hair is really thick, but it does recede and in the front is kind of thin. Growing it out just long enough to where I can do the swept over bangs and have the back and sides kind of flare out. Who knows what it'll look like in 6 or 7 months?

I want long hair because it is awesome and I honestly find it really attractive (also probably because I listen to a ton of rock)

Wash your hair frequently, go to your local CVS or any store with hair products and buy some. Try different things to keep it the way you want it. Remember that nothing is perfect, unless you make it. Accept your hair for how it is and enjoy it :)

Use oil and moisturizer, a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, and only shampoo at most once a week, but still use conditioner.
