Talking about slowing down, the meaning of Christmas and the way I felt on Christmas Day truly changed after accepting Christ as my savior. I used to feel so empty after all the presents were opened and all the excitement was over..once I was saved, my whole Christmas feels changed! I LOVE Christmas but for totally different reasons. It’s all about peace, quiet and focus-not busyness anymore. I am not one for the hustle and bustle of going here and there.

It celebrates the birth of Jesus, so dear. On that wonderful starry night so very long ago God's greatest blessing to us He did bestow. God sent His Son to show us His Love, And Jesus left His heavenly home above. In a humble stable, He was born that night, And in the sky was a star ever so bright. Shepherds in the fields came to see the Child, They were led by the star all the while. A heavenly host of angels worshipped the King. "Glory Be to God" were praises they did sing. Christmas began with a star ever so bright. It is not about parties with those we love, But the Love of God sending His Son from above. Christmas is not about the gifts we can get. It's about the shepherds when Christ they met. We tend to think about the tinsel and trees. Christmas is remembering God's Gift that frees. Christmas isn't about gifts we cherish and hold. It's about three wise men bearing gifts of Frankincense, myrrh, and gold. Santa Claus and the elves are only a story. Christmas is all about God's Glory! This year when you gather with friends, Know in a manager is where Christmas begins. When clerks greet you with "Happy Holidays", Say, "Merry Christmas" and give yourself away. Christmas is all about the Jesus we can receive. All we have to do is truly trust and believe!
