I bought a paperback copy of the Hobbit back in 2002. That book traveled so many places with me. It looks like it went to The Lonely Mountain with Bilbo. The cover is torn, edges of the pages are stained, and it smells like old. My favorite book 💚

I've been writing about book bans at Book Riot (thanks for the link!) and the number one thing people can do right now to prevent book bans is to attend school board meetings, speak at the meetings, and vote in school board elections! Right wing groups are taking over, and it's really scary.

12:04 - hilarious, i am somone who would not lend certain books to people. But seeing the waffle print is actually pretty cool. I found Gender Queer because it was in an article about banned books - was very "i have to read that!" Highly agree, if it's banned. I probably want to read it. Still a long way to go, but alot more LGBTQ+ books for middlegrade are being publish, which is always encouraging. 💜📚

Hello !! I follow your channel since the moment you started and I’m so happy to see what you have became professionally, personally . You helped a lot to start my social transition and to understand who I was , im here writing you because regardless of having 5 years I came out as transman my mother still have some problems with this and I still have some problem accepting she has problems with this , i would like to know if there’s a book you can recommend me to help me with this . I feel I alone and worthless by my mother because of the way she treats me and it’s breaks my heart the fact I’m a good person and still don’t have her love as I would love to… so that makes me feel alone and empty because of what I’m missing from her , like we don’t get to connect and seems never enough to make her proud and it’s like I’m also disappointed her because I can not meet her requirements… I feel hate from someone i care and love about which it’s my mother … and that is killing me . The misgender, the public humiliation due to my identity, I can’t stop from having a relationship with her because I want to Honor and compliance with the role I have to do as son ( respectfully ) can you please advise me what to do? The fumes are seriously not so safe and the waffle iron should not be used for anything edible afterwards. From a safety standpoint, I would not recommend it.

Does Jackson or anyone else know how I can buy the book when I live in Sweden? On the page he linked I can only choose Canada, US or Australia. I would like a book to hold and read and not a pdf.

I don‘t know about Sweden, but I live in Germany and whenever I want US books I either go to a book shop in person and they order for me, or there are some larger book shops that have an online store where you can order them (although you can‘t find all books here)

I ordered mine from adlibris last year. There are plenty of other stores in Europe as well that have it. Do make sure the store is in the EU though, so you don't need to pay extra.
