DE doesn’t play well with other products. Completely wash out the conditioner, use DE leave in, cream, then honey gel!! U will love the results and there won’t be any white flakes. Product list: almond and avocado leave in Almond and avocado styling cream Honey curl forming custard These three together are amazing!!!!! Hopefully this helps!!

The Mielle Babasoo deep is a protein (light) based conditioner. I use it when I feel like my hair needs a little protein which is why you probably didn't feel the softness you get with the moisture based deep conditioners. Beautiful hair!

Lately I use a curl cream and then gel. Instead of a leave-in and gel. It defines so much more. I have tried the curl enhancing smoothie by SM + gel, the frizz-taming smoothie + gel and Aunt Jackie's curl la la + gel (no flaking for all 3). Awesome. I recently tried "Every Strand" curl cream and it flaked on impact, but this one has so much hold that you don't need a gel on top. Beware though when pairing that one with other products!

Loving your videos....can you add a list of the brands in say a top 10. Then each time you use a brand and its better its gets slotted higher up the list. So we always see the current number 1 and the runners up. Perhaps add price next to each brand. These products are so expensive and its good to get a feel before spending too much money;) Well appreciated. Love your hair and your videos, as I just want to do wash&go's all the time.

MutetheCity I have the same and kept cutting it thinking it was heat damage. It's been 2 years since I big chopped so I've used no heat and it's still like that. In the front loose, kinky in the middle, really defined coils in the back.
