Offense should be way better which takes pressure off the defense..yes we played some bad teams last year and the defense still was exposed..josh dobbs etc..but what did the offense do in those games? we lost alot of players on defense last year which is also the reason for bud and campbell playing as much as they did..gradys back troys back..2nd and 3rd year players should take a step forward..plus we drafted defense..the weight isnt on the rookies..its on the vets..40 plus sacks is decent if u are not giving up the big plays and your Offense is scoring which they should be..the focus is on the Offense not the defense..pitts london bijan and now kirk..thats alot of draft capital and money

A better offense begets a better defense bc it has the ability to dictate the flow of the game. I say Atlanta ranks about 6th total offense and 14th ovr Defense.

@@The__Nationnot that our offense isn’t capable of being great but it’s been unproven throughout the Fontenot era. On the other hand, the defense has been the main reason we’ve been able to stay in or win majority of the games we’ve won the last 2 years. The media speaks highly of what our offense could be but undermines what our defense has done with limited star power.

@@taedo2xthat is the thing. “Limited star power” on paper the offense should be a top unit with the high end talent and a pro bowl QB. The defense does not have that. The defense for this year did not make additions to raise the ceiling and this defense was never tested against a true top offense. If you played Gardner Minshew and Sam Howell, that is not moving the needle.

It is getting hard to listen to more than a minute or two. I check in because I am an optimist hoping it might get better. The negativity is intentional and laced with enough arrogance to make the channel hard to watch.
