This is the first time I've seen her perform it with a more "normal" singing voice and it's beautiful, of course. But I love the Nobel concert for all the vocal scoops she uses in that performance; even more expressively than other "vocal scoop performance" of Runaway I've seen, I think (but I'm pretty new to Aurora so of course I still know very little about the evolution of how she's sung it over the years).

This is an awesome, stripped-back acoustic version, but the definitive, most popular version would be the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize concert version. Or if you're up to it, you could do the entire concert, which is only three songs. All three songs are incredible (even by Aurora standards). I kind of doubt she gets tired of performing it, because she always performs it differently, and never just goes through the motions. She has called "Runaway" a gift from her younger self (11 years old!) to her older self, because it means more to her now than it did then. She has also said that it means something different every time she sings it, so it probably stays pretty fresh for her.

Runaway is a beautiful song and means a lot to her. Her music video has over 600 million views, it is very popular. For me, I love the song, but there are so many other songs of hers that I love more, I never listen to this one except in reactions and then I am like, it is a such a beautiful song, lol

Yes, there are two awsome versions on her official channel: „Guitar version“ and „Piano acoustic“. Some time ago I had heard the classic version so many times (in reactions), that I could not listen to it anymore (it is the only song that this happened to), but those two versions made me appreciate it again so much more :)

3:55 this performance is from 2021... for perspective, that makes her 2+ years older than what you've reacted to previously... HAIK and her Apple Tree music video was 2019 Her Nidarosdomen concert which you've reacted to one song from - Lucky - was 2017 Her Through the Eyes of a Child vevo performance was 2016 and of course the Murder Song - Nobel Peace performance was 2015 So you have been reacting to videos from different ages of her life : age 18/19-25. (she's 27 currently.)

This looks like it’s a TV broadcast performance, so it looks like her hair has been styled and she was probably forced to wear some TV makeup (she normally avoids a lot of makeup), all these things have made her look a lot older here than in previous videos.

I love Aurora! But this is definitely not my favorite version of Runaway. Outstanding in itself but she preformed this song with more depth when she was younger. Please do check out other versions of Runaway. Her Original video is pretty epic even though it's not live. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpCrnYOYpLGFgpo Although if you watch the entire Nobel Peace Prize concert you'll hear a great live performance.
