Condolences on the 5 IDF men that lost their lives. May their memory be a blessing to their families and loved ones. It was good to hear that at least the bodies of some of the hostages were recovered. May they rest in peace! Praise for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He has received so much pressure, internal and external! I pray God gives him strength to continue fighting for what is best for Israel and the people of Israel. Shame on the internal voices using this to advance political interests in the middle of the war! They are not helping but instead encouraging this US administration's actions, instead of staying united for the sake of their country and its safety and security. That is very disappointing to see! Tunnels under border. Egypt themselves dug part of the tunnels with their engineering corps - thats why they objected Israel taking over the border strip so strongly. Also ,Egypts military buildup in Sinai and at all is shows their rtrue position on the peace.

Israel must necessarily change the system of government from parliamentary to presidential. The voters should directly vote for a president who will wield executive powers for a tenure of four or five years. A presidential system will do away with situations where one or two individuals can hold the government at ransom and sometimes even lead to collapse of government.. Stability of of government and policy consistency are key for survival of Israel in the volatile Middle East region.
