i personally want this game to do good, so i can eventually play it when i get a pc that can handle it. as for now i just have to watch and dream. looks like so much fun and chaos.

I can tell you the fun and chaos, is the best part of the game. Little eh a lot of the newer updates trying to lower it a bit. You really should look forward when you can play it. Hope you get the pc soon! :)

Hey! Thanks so much for your comment. I really appreciate the feedback! I get why the title may have made you feel that way, and you’re right! The game is doing really well. I got to dive into the new season today, and it’s been a lot of fun so far. I tried to keep the title open-ended on purpose, hoping to catch both the people who think the game is dying and the fans who know it’s more alive than ever. The "rise again" and "rest in peace" parts are kind of a playful nod to how Reddit and other communities see the game often swinging between extremes. If you stick around for the end of the video, you’ll hear my critique. There have been a lot of changes last season, especially with ranked and weapons, which I know has made some players feel uncertain. I’m optimistic about the finals, though, and I still stand by the things I praised in the video-great maps, fun skins, and some solid gameplay that’s made me enjoy aspects of the game I didn’t like before. I checked out some of your SCP content too, and you make great stuff! With the context I’ve shared, I hope you can see where I’m coming from on this. What do you think about this new season?

Enjoyed it in beta, with full release somehow performance on my PC dropped to the point i couldn't play it like i used to, so i dropped it. Also i don't like the zoomer vibe from everything in this game, but gameplay is fun.

you are not alone! i heard so many of my freinds having perfomance issues on decent pc. That led them to dropping the game. I think the beta was better. A big part was the meta wasnt really set yet and alot of stuff was either OP or meh.

@@A-Bad-Take meta is a sad faith for every game older than a week. These days everything will be optimized, and can't really blame people for that, it just is what it is. I'd propably still play The Finals if not for the huge performance drop.

The new season there isn’t really a meta because every weapon is good even the grenade launcher or the sledgehammer

A ton of TF2 and Titanfall 2 players started playing the game. (also why I know of, the game to begin with) still crazy Titanfall 2 is around, just wish it had more love.
