As an Israeli, I absolutely agree - except for the violence one. This is a consensus here in Israel and something that is harder to understand for people who do not live here and did not experience October 7 themselves. Netaniau needs to find a replacement for Hamas, a thing which will help end the war and avoid more casualties in the long term, but the IDF's response is absolutely proportional. It keeps a 1:3 terrorist to civilian casualties ratio, which is 3 times better than the UN's recommended ratio in urban areas which is 1:9.

A prolonged economic crisis is a danger to the existence of Israel than any other threat it has ever faced ,and given the current situation and the carnage in Gaza ,Israel is headed for exactly that ,a prolonged economic crisis. Barring any significant concessions from the Israelis this war in Gaza will not and can not be just swept under the rug like the previous wars, it is so glaringly publicised and so atrocious and has had the effect of focusing much of the world's attention on the Palestinian issue (think the effect the Soweto uprising had on Apartheid South Africa) ,now this may not be apparent in the immediate as changes in international geopolitics take time to reflect ie Israel's main allies may not immediately sanction it but there's a general consensus that Israel is becoming a liability among it's allies i.e they are starting to lose more than they gain and this will trigger a gradual divestment from Israel over the coming years as these allies seek to form new partnerships to circumvent Israel's use. Apartheid South Africa faced a similar problem towards the end ,previously the US and it's allies in Western Europe supported the Apartheid regime in it's military adventures in Angola, Namibia and Mozambique but as the international outcry against Apartheid grew ,South Africa became a net liability to the West and from the mid 70s onwards they started divesting culminating in 1985 when they placed sanctions on the Apartheid regime. South Vietnam suffered a similar fate, when after tet ,Vietnam become a political liability to the US and this forced the US to divest and start reconsidering it's China policy. Israel is in a very similar position today but it faces an existential threat if this were to happen, the first casualty of this war economically is the tourism industry which has all but collapsed in the wake of this war, and will stay so for quite a while as it doesn't make alot of business sense for tour companies (with the BDS movement in full swing ) to offer packages to visit a country accused of (that g word) ,they may gain a handful of religious tourists but will lose alot of customers who will not consider them for other destinations. That's the tourism industry gone. Also don't expect any state visits from leaders from the Global South, Israel is effectively in isolation from here on out. Now tourism contributes to a good portion of the economy but it's what comes next that may prove the biggest threat. Being in Isolation means the country won't attract as many investors and slowly over the next 5 or so years the economy will start shrinking, now this is an economy heavily reliant on it's tech industries and technology as an industry is very human resource reliant, now as the economy shrinks these tech companies may find themselves in a position whereby they cannot compete with global tech companies and this may trigger an outflow of human capital as these techies go to better paying ,less isolated countries (read about capital flight in the latter stages of Apartheid and early post Apartheid era in South Africa) , this has the overall effect of making Israel less competitive in the tech sphere in the world and crucially one of it's biggest exports ,which means a tanking economy and loss of significant diplomatic leverage . Now with a tanking/stagnating economy and Isolated that's when the demographics kick in, in a country with so many dual nationals (with citizenship from developed countries) as soon as economic woes begin they will start fleeing to these countries, which means the economy tanks even more ,which results in more people leaving ,by the time we are getting to this stage (in about a decade or so) Israel will have lost so much diplomatic leverage due to the factors listed above that it will probably now be sanctioned and this will further exacerbate the crisis..and it is in this stage that Israel will most probably agree to serious negotiations ,but what happens to the probably 1mn settlers in the west Bank ? Are they to be expelled? Realistically this would be a disaster so we may have a situation where one state, with two autonomous regions (See Bosnia & Herzegovina) is declared ,problem is equal rights also means equal rights for Palestinians which means right of return and trust me they will flood back ,flood back to a state which has already lost significant amounts of its Jewish population and Palestinians may edge out the Jews in Israel in terms of population resulting in a state with 60% Arab 40% Jewish population and in that situation can it really describe itself as a Jewish state . Btw the name of this state will most probably be Republic of Israel and Palestine. My suggestion to the Israelis, get rid of Netanyahu and get someone who is willing and serious about a political settlement with the Palestinians while you are still on top ,because it will only get harder from here.

A few problem with video. 1. Moody report not only said that the Israeli government didn't agree to the international proposed solution to Gaza, but also that there was no other plan on the table. And that even if Israel government agree to the international proposed medium/long term solution, there is no garantee it will work or improve the situation. TL;DR's Israel-silhouette includes the Golan Heights as if Israeli territory. Even as the international consensus is that it is Syrian territory occupied by Israel.
