In the Philippines foreign citizens can’t own any property. The house you buy is your wife’s or partners house. There are many beautiful Filipino more mature women which are stable and loyal. Younger women are more likely to get fed up and leave sometimes after your money been spent 🙁💁‍♂️

There is probably more to it. Nobody gives away their whole pension to a stranger on the street; He got groomed for about five years. If you are lonely, depressed, in distance love, and have never experienced being preyed upon before, you become very vulnerable. It looks like he understands what he did wasn't the brightest decision in his life, and handles that for what it is and doesn't waste his last days in regret; that would be foolish.

Hey Pea, my crush, I had another thought (I know, I'm just full of them lately) Since your channel centers around bridging communication between our respective cultures, this should be right up your alley. While talking to Filipino ladies with limited English skills, I oftentimes find my words misinterpreted. Perhaps a video highlighting how similes between English and the spoken languages of your country have alternate meaning. This would require research on your part, but I know of no one else who have the requisite skills to make this happen. Maybe you could title it: "You Said What". Haha, always your friend. Tom

It is a misnomer that there are no rules in the Philippines. Actually, the Philippines does have traffic laws resembling the West, and more overall regulation of everything in general. The real difference is enforcement and compliance. Philippine laws are so rarely or loosely enforced that people do not follow them. There is one unwritten Filipino traffic law that trumps all others. The bigger your vehicle, the more right of way you have on the road.

I grew up in a tough neighborhood and learned early to avoid con artists. So I've always considered people who got conned to be dupes responsible for their own stupidity. Pea's guy was a decent man. He accepted and shrugged off his loss, took responsibility. I realized, not everybody got the street-wise education I did. Thank you for your effort to inform foreigners about the good, the bad and the ugly of the Philippines. One thing I don't think you have covered in your videos is what kind of shots and vaccines should foreigners get before coming to the Philippines in order to avoid some of the common illnesses in your country. That might make a good video also. Hugs and kisses from the USA. See you soon.

Shame on you though, Miss Pea, for touching him on the arm like that. If his wife sees that, he'll have some explaining to do! 😂 Never understood why people don't like Filipino food. I would disagree with the two gentlemen around the 26 min mark. They talked about the driving in the Philippines. they said there were no rules. I kindly disagree. There are rules they follow and at least when I was there in the 1990's in Davao, there were not many car accidents. I personally never saw any car accidents the 2 years I was there. Here are some of the rules: (at least when I was there) - Use your horn to let other vehicles know you are there and are going to pass. (horns are used to let your presence be known, Not that you are angry at someone.) - When entering an intersection with no lights or stop signs, the biggest vehicle has the right of way. - Do not pass on the right, as the open lane is for jeepneys to suddenly pull over and pick up a passenger on the side of the road. - If a police officer is on foot, on the side of the road, if he points at you and directs you to the side of the road, you obey. He has a fully loaded ar-15 and knows how to use it. - MOST IMPORTANT RULE, DRIVE EXACTLY HOW THEY DRIVE, NOT how you drove in your country of origin. I Loved the Philippines and the People so much!!! These videos make me home sick.

Pretty much in line with what I remember about the Philippines. Lumpia wasn’t mentioned (at least I didn’t hear it). I think the food was amazing. Seems like retiring to the Philippines is wonderful. What about if you're young, still working, and want to live there? Just wondering about the opportunities for careers, sustaining yourself, and raising a family. If you have to wait until you retire with a pension (usually at old age) what good will it do? Some of us would rather not be 50+ years old if we are wanting to relocate to the Philippines to marry and raise children.

The two guys who appeared together should go home. They had nothing positive to say. I found them very ungrateful to P.I. They should go back to London and look at the art they miss so much. Also they could not name one philipino food dish. I’ll take adobo, panzit, lumpia, and pandasal (sorry about the spelling). The one problem I see with a lot of foreigners in the P.I. Is they forget they are a GUEST in the PI and a guest is supposed to be polite and respectful in someone else’s country. Another problem I see is some foreigners confuse the words respect and money. If you think you can buy respect you’re wrong.

Not even the canaries that look much older than I am ... 😅 ... phew ... how reassuring! Please, if you find that the bureaucracy (a word of french etymology!) is an ordeal, go to France and live your nightmare! According to Martin’s upcoming Guide “How to bag a Filipina gf” foreigners are welcome to go there in person to taste the climate. Ms Pea, your research was equal to the hype. My only worry is that some geriatric could think that Filipinas are in fact American women of the sixties ... 😵 Could they be the source of the Aswangs? You ask good questions, Ms Pea. People in America are immature in their personal relations. It might because of the high divorce rate and the shattered families. This leads to absence of day to day roll models and parenting. Asia, Philippines, has a strong family and village life with mature interactions. This one of the things that attracts Amercan and Western men to the Philippines. Just my two pesos worth. By the way, you are not too hard to look at. I'd definitely take you to a dog fight. I’m black and been to the Philippines and you don’t see that many black men there because the military base is gone. Also, like me a lot of the fillapina women in America date and marry black men, or either other Filipinos. You will never see a fillapina in America with an old dude unless she was brought her back. Once she becomes Americanized she leaves for a younger man. Also, a lot of black men still do not travel internationally, for one it’s expensive to travel and the other reason is they don’t look to go elsewhere.
