To answer the video title's question: Yes. I heard it's going to be backwards compatible with Switch games and Switch has a lot of Final Fantasy games on it so technically they'll be on it. XD

Will be interested to see what SE comes up with for Rebirth’s “Steam Deck mode”. Presumably we’ll be seeing that in less than 2 weeks, and will give us a rough idea of what’s possible on Switch 2.

They don't have too much planned for 2025 so it could happen, let's hope so. Wish they did an 8 remake instead of 9 though as 9 still looks incredible, especially upscaled on PC. I haven't played Tactics either so I want that one too as that will be new to me!

I believe in FF9 remake on Switch 2. And I think it's only a matter of time, maybe it will be announced soon, or maybe it will take a while, but we will end up getting the game. Or I hope so.
