I actually like this bike. This bike is pretty much all you need for the street and even to go touring on and believe me when I say that 'box damages' are part of the "delivery world" via both UPS & Fed Ex. I would know because many moons ago I used to be a Fed Ex driver; probably the worst job I've ever had(keep in mind that when working for Fed Ex you work for a contractor through Fed Ex but you DO NOT work for Fed Ex directly; only the package handlers work directly through Fed Ex and thus they receive more benefits than the drivers themselves !!! ) due to having NO paid time off, NO option for insurance, NO paid sick leave, NO paid vacation time and working 12 hours a day/6 days a week even during 'Non Busy' season while ONLY averaging $16 to $17 per hour(drivers get paid by the day while making ONLY $150 to $170 per day which isn't anything for all the heavy packages and lifting you have to do not to mention all the driving in all weather conditions) while taking a minimum of 22,000 walking steps per day with packages that range from .5 pounds up to 150 lbs for whole furniture sets, weight systems, oversized vehicle tires, etc..etc.. !😂

The quality of the machining on those rearsets appears really good. 9:30 looks like you were trying to tighten the bolts there rather than undoing them! 🤦
@Wepnxr9 ай бұрын
Compared to the standard rear set, how much adjustment is available on the new adjustable set? When I sat on the 450SR (Australia) I found my knees to be pretty high up (I'm 6ft tall). Would these adjustable rear sets and the higher seat be enought to make the bike comfortable on longer rides? Obviously it's not going to turn it into a sports touring but I'd like some comfort

A tail tidy is a joke you expose wires making it look untidy. Plus there is no good aftermarket one that conceals the wiring. So you have the look of junky cable ties zipped to metal bracket.

This may be a dumb question. But do these rear sets give you more room to have more lean angle? I notice one downside to this bike is you can't lean it as far as the ninja 400 without scraping hard parts. So with these rear sets can you lean more?
@JessicaSimonson19769 ай бұрын
How are you not able to lean this bike? I take corners at 50-60 mph marked 35mph, and damn near drag a knee.
@AwesomeCREEPER779 ай бұрын
@@JessicaSimonson1976 oh I don't have it yet. Just seeing these bikes on track I noticed it just drags hard parts about earlier so I was just curious that's all. Not saying it's not good just wondering

@@AaronPMC how is it? I am thinking to buy somewhat "soon" my first bike and I don't rly want a big cc bike like 500+ for example, is CFMoto reliable like Suzuki,Yamaha for example?
@AaronPMC8 ай бұрын
@@libre1245 so this is my first motorcycle, and CFMoto is relatively newer company ( they have been making four wheelers and sxs since the 80-90s) . I’ve put 750 miles on mine so far, 0 issues. With my experience, I cannot tell you if it’s reliable as the big 4. But what I can tell you as a beginner, is the the bike is nice, some of the fairing plastic appears cheap, and I personally don’t like the carbon fiber panels they have (99.9% sure it’s not real carbon fiber). The bike itself is easy to manipulate , it can go pretty fast (faster then any other bike in its class). The motor is made by KTM. I don’t know much about KTM… maybe you do. TFT display is really nice. It’s sounds really nice. My only advice really…. Check and see if you have an authorized CFMoto dealership/service station near you. They are pretty sparse in some locations. Luckily I have one 5 minutes down the road at my house. Also cannot beat that competitive pricing. Also forgot to mention it has ABS brakes. All in all, it’s a beautiful bike, sounds good, rides good, super bright headlights. Hardly any aftermarket scene at all, at least for right now. Get what your heart desires and pay attention to the road and everything around you, dress for the slide not the ride brother hope this helps

I have a 2023 CFMoto 450ss. Great bike. Only issue I have is a ticking noise from the front of the engine. Doesn’t happen when cold. Once warmed up, there is a ticking noise that accelerates with throttle. I’m guessing it is the exhaust headers. Can’t reach the top bolts, but one bolt on the left side I can reach was loose.
