My Uncle installed a Holley Fuel Injection Kit on to His FORD LTD it to has low mileage and looks like brand new. BUT He also got horrible fuel milage so He installed that Holley Fuel Injection Kit after doing LOTS of research. After installing the Holley He's getting between 18 and 20 miles to a gallon on the expressway drive around 70 and 75. Plus He really likes how it runs and starts better You might want to think about putting one on to your LTD if you plan on keeping it for awhile. Even if you plan on selling it in the future it's definitely a selling feature for sure.
@PoleBarnGarage4 ай бұрын
Absolutely not, I can find parts for motorcraft 2150 anywhere and fix it easily 2000 miles from home. Holley snipers are unreliable at best and I doubt he saw that much change in economy unless something was seriously wrong before. Good video Dalton. I knew it was a good pickup when I saw the Kenworth emblem in the grill guard... $3500 for the pickup, $100 for paint, and $4,000 for gas home LOL. In 2001 I bought a one owner 79 GMC 3500 1 ton crewcab 4x4 with single rear wheels. I went through it from one end to the other. It had the original 400 small block but it was tired, so I built a big block eating 406 for it. It has a turbo 400 trans and 3.73 gears. I like the hydro boost brakes when everything is working like it should.

Awesome video buddy and definitely a pretty nice square body truck for sure!!! Heck all the hard work was done for you!! The guy that you got the truck from had beer able to find all the body panels that wasn’t all rotted out!!! Just a little minor body work and a good paint job and that truck would really be a nice truck!! Heck you could even do a front suspension and a different transmission and turn it into a 1Ton 4x4 conversion!!! That is probably what I would do with it because of how nice it is or if not a 4x4 conversion I’d definitely do a lowering setup, some nice bigger wheels and turn it into a tow rig for sure!! That is another idea that runs across me!!! I do have everything for a 1Ton 4x4 swap like all the tranny, transfer case, axle, and all the suspension stuff!! The only thing I’m not a hundred percent is if I have the Wright length drive shaft but I definitely have quite a few that I can sort through and see if I could find one or not!!! I’m Still looking for a 1981 and newer pickup box that isn’t all completely rotted out with the square gas doors on both sides for one of my K30 SRW that I have!!! I do have a 1973-1979 Chevy pickup box that needs paint and it has one round gas door on it!! I’d be interested in trading anyone out there that might have a good box for a 1981 Chevy with the dual square gas doors or I’d even be interested in buying one if someone has one out there?? Really they do sell two different quality style box sides and a complete new floors with all the new bed runners under the floor that a person can buy and put together witch I keep thinking about doing!! The box sides and the premium ones I can get for around 600.00$ to 700.00$ each side and a floor for around a 1000.00$ to 1200.00$!! I have a really nice GMC tailgate and I also have a really nice Chevy tail gate that I picked up a while back I do also have the two inner wheel tubs and a good front panel that goes against the cab!! Awesome video once again and if your dad isn’t interested in getting it from you I’d definitely be interested in buying it from you if you are willing to sell it to me??? I do have two 1984 Chevy K30 frames and full running gears for the 4 door trucks!! I also have a 10’ dump box for one and a 10’ service box that has 4 or 5 doors on both sides!!! Lots of people have been wanting to use those these days on builds!!! I used mine for going and getting scrap metal when I was laid off from construction work!!! Worked out great for me!! Every thing would be in the truck all ready to go in the mornings when I’d leave to head out and get a load of scrap!!! Torches tanks and about 150’ of torch hose so I didn’t have to unload the tanks and get closer to the metal that might need cut!!
