The difference with Snyder and Ayer is that Snyder had to leave so WB decided to give his cut because he wanted to make it but couldn’t so they shared his version. Ayer probably won’t get a cut because this was WB decision to make the movie shit and think it’s better than his vision. He still might get it as elseworlds bc of James Gunn tho.

James Gunn said that he is behind releasing it someday, however WB/DC won't do anything with it prior to the release of the new Superman movie as to not confuse audiences as to which timeline continuity is which. My bet is that they're planning on releasing it in some fashion for the 10th anniversary in 2026. 🤞🤞 I'd like to see this!

The David Ayer suicide squad should’ve happened in the same year as Snyder’s Justice league since there both cancelled visions. This would also be perfect for James Gunn Suicide squad movie because there wouldn’t be confusion with the timeline. For example Rick flag’s Dad going after peacemaker to avenge his son. James Gunn has plans to scrap the entirety of Snyder's universe, especially considering that Zack Snyder is joining marvel. Gunn is going to remove any previous remains of that extending universe of storytelling since it's basically a dead universe that no one wants to see anymore. The flash proved it.

Just so you know how mutilated the movie was in the editing room, let me refer you to the introduction of it's novelization. The novelization of the movie seems like a weird frankenstein's monster of the original vision and the final cut, but nonetheless, the Enchantress introduction goes on for three chapters, what was probably longer in the original version. And it was less than ten seconds in the final movie. I don't care if the movie's still ass, no one's vision should be tainted like this. There are some people who hate The Snyder Cut but still agree it's better than the theatrical cut. Ayer deserves the real film to be released, no matter what anyone thinks of it.

Its not cheap to just release something like this on streaming. Cmon bruh. Snyders 'cut' featured ton of new footage, a lot of effects had to be finished for it to even work. Ayer's cut, if it truly even exists is most likely not polished at all and would require ton of cash to release without looking cheap as heck. You can't put together and 'release to streaming' working movie by cutting few scenes adding few raw deleted scenes to existing one.
