Yes! Been looking to see reinforcement like this. What you call “cocktail” I call “entourage effect” - both referring to the multiplier effect of taking multiple different things in tandem to achieve a broader desired effect. I started mine 2 years ago, am 61 now (so started at 59). Results: 100% elimination of liver spots all over my skin from head to toe (I was a beach lifeguard in my teens and early 20’s, lifelong surfer, so massive skin damage), wrinkles 90% gone, all grey hairs returned to brown, mind is constantly “on fire” (abundant/overflowing cognitive energy), body fat dropped from 22% to steady 12% despite a relatively high caloric intake for my size (6’ tall, my baseline caloric consumption is around 2700 calories/day for maintenance), added about 12 pounds of muscle despite losing about 20lbs fat (I do lift 4-5 days a week and have a daily “muscle” stack as well), zero issues with blood sugar, blood pressure, etc., quit wanting alcohol so just stopped altogether 18 months ago, regular hikes with 1000’ elevation climb or more, etc. etc. Bottom line: I feel like I have 60 more years in front of me. I also keep separate, quite elaborate “cocktails” for Cognition, Muscle, Gut and Skin that all overlap a bit with my “Mitochondrial Cocktail” (obviously, healthy mitochondria are the foundation of everything else). Core elements of my mitochondrial health protocol consist of a mix of the following; (1) ATP/Energy: Creatine Monohydrate (1G per 10Kg body weight daily), Methylene Blue (12-24mg daily, 3 weeks on, one week off), (2) Antioxidant(s): NAC (1G per 10kg body weight daily), Glycine (2g per 10kg body weight daily), Ergothione (3mg per 10kg body weight daily), Astanxanthin (3mg per 10kg body weight daily), Curcumin (must have bioperrine, be liposomal and be nanotized to sub-100nm particle size to permeate cell walls), (3) Bypass; Ubiquinol form of CoQ10 (95% of CoQ10 products out there are Ubiquinone form, which are fine for younger people but which some research shows elderly populations cannot effectively convert into Ubiquinol - which is the active form of CoQ10 - why this isn’t common knowledge blows my mind), (4) “mitophogy cleanse”; 60 consecutive days of 1,000mg Urolithin A once per year, (5) essential daily vitamins (in particular magnesium, copper, zinc and selenium when contemplating mitochondrial impacts), D3, Omega 3’s and the “B’s” (I do higher doses, 100mg B3/Niacin, for vasodilation and NAD+ synthesis as well), fundamental to everything, etc., etc.. I could go on. Unfortunately, we will likely never find good “peer-reviewed” studies on such “cocktails” because the possible supplement permutations are endless and testing each permutation is prohibitively expensive. But I suspect one of the reasons “natural foods” have the beneficial effects they do HAS to be the “entourage effect” of all of the different beneficial molecules comprising those foods - the way these molecules combine and work together. Great topic.

Personally I think it is a really bad idea to bump up NO, that stuff becomez super damaging when converted into reactive nitrogen species, or even just lest in the NO form, and will do what you are trying to prevent... It will clamp on to cytc and stop its function causing a back flow of electrons, or the RNS will assult the mito membrain oxidising the polys... I think on par with all this is that it reduces NAD to nadh driving reductive stress, again injibiting the mito.

Look up Dr Chris Palmer on youtube. " Brain energy " is his book. Go keto...never look back. Take high dose B1, omega 3's, a methylated b complex. " metabolic mind" on you tube is a great resource too. 4 weeks on a ketogenic diet will increase mitochondria by 400% in 4 weeks. Recent studies are curing bipolar and schitzophrenia in 12 weeks. Its all about rebooting the mitochondria. Supplements are pretty useless if you eat a high carb duet. Stem cells are actually suppressed when blood glucose in the brain is high. The brain loves ketones and in a low carb environment stem cells surge into the brain. THEN the supplements have a greater effect.
