Hi Forest, great video. Thai bloggers like you, Paddy, Sean & Pete are portraying Thailand in such a better light. TBH the country needs all the help it can get. The old image don't fly well now. So I'm grateful for what you do. I Live at Samrong if you fancy a coffee or beer sometime. This is an area bloggers rarely show, as real life ain't always pretty? Anyway, keep up the content. You have improved enormously recently (think I know why) Cheers, Tony

That was probably your best interview yet. You both are such inspiration…even though with your age and his equals mine. Oh well…..old dogs will learn. Thanks again.

Great Interview.. Ive been following Paddy Thai for about 2 years now and Paddy is fantastic. Forrest, I’ve began to watch Your videos as well and I really admire You outlook on Life and approaches to life as well. I had absolutely no idea that You and Paddy had connected and began networking together. I have been to Thailand and enjoy the culture, love learning the language. I’m planning on coming back soon sometime in 2023 and would like to connect with You or Paddy in one way or another. Stay squared away Forrest Lee !!!

I like the discussion on content creation. Yes, It is really hard. I respect the work you all do, especially when it is quality content. People don’t realize how much work and planning went into that content. People need to understand!

Hey Forrest, just an idea, but can you do videos about the markets and the malls. Like where are the good local markets, or which mall is best for buying certain things? All while actually going to those locations and showing the area kind of like how you do your condo videos.

Great interview. Love Paddy's channel and I learned a lot from your talk. May I please ask a sudden question, Forrest? I noticed you are wearing jeans. With all the humidity and heat in Bkk (I have never been but plan on going soon) can I really wear it there in let's say November all to way to mid December for example when going out in the evening? Thanks.

If I was him I would already be living in Thailand. I'm in Thailand now on vacation - loving life 👍 English is becoming more prevalent among the younger generations - but speak basic Thai is very helpful. Reading and writing Thai is another level.

The Thai consonant and vowel system is a PITA to learn. However, if one speaks Cantonese, mandarin you catch on really fast. The similarity in language, phonetics and influence from China is very strong. I was going thru the thai numbering system and it's like hey... this sounds similar to cantonese. lol.

It’s so funny to watch him speaking English now 😅 great video as always Forrest! There’s a Korean KZbinr KyuteOppa (with over 8 million subs) he speaks fluent Thai and English but most of his contents are in Thai. Would be nice to know how he started his path as a Korean and doing so successfully in the content creation over here in Thailand anyways always love your video and supporting you over here! ❤

a curious question: how do you guys deal with the mosquito issues over there regarding the dengue virus?? That's one of the biggest fears for some people looking to visit Thailand. I met a brother/sister pair from Thailand while I was in Tokyo and they told me they never go outside bc of it.
@Ben-yp9nh2 жыл бұрын
They never go outside because of it? Lmao what a sad life. It’s pretty obvious really, avoid getting bitten by mosquitos. Cover up and if you can’t because of the heat then always wear mosquito repellent spray.
@goonerdoy2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I got done in March when I visited and had never gotten it whilst living there 2014-2020. Damn!

Mosquito repellent : spray, sticker, wristband variety of choice.
@petchpoonpoon35962 жыл бұрын
Hi there I’m a Thai living here. We go outside in sleeve clothes all the time because it’s just always so hot here and I’ve never caught dengue fever. There are only certain types of mosquitoes that carry the viruses. The Aedes Aegypti mosquito, or dengue mosquito, is dark coloured and has typical white markings on the legs and lyre like markings on the thorax. It is significantly smaller in size, being only 4 to 7 millimetres long. Basically they look like a zebra in a mosquito form. I can say that it is safe to be here….also there are repellent sprays selling everywhere :)

What some people will miss is that both of you guys can love being a Thai and an Australian and yet can be friends. My Father was from Norway and my mother from America. Ethnically pure people hate those relationships but ethnically different people being friends helps those of us who aren't "pure".

I spent 2.5 years in Thailand in the Army. When I got to Thailand, my CO said that I had tested high on language apptitude and I could have gone back to the language school in Montery. I opted to stay in Thailand. By the time I left in 1970, I could speak and understand Thai very well. Now! Not so much!
