Thank you for the useful video. I have two questions. You say, " If I won a lottery, I would buy a new car." I think, in this case, because it was not realized we use "would." I wonder if I misunderstand or not. Another question is the difference between "be going to" and "will". Can we replace "I am going to" to "I will" in all cases? Best regards.

Hi! Great questions 😊 I think you have the right idea about the conditional- we use it to talk about situations that haven’t actually happened (using words like would, should, could). The question of using ‘going to’ instead of will does not always convey the same meaning. “I’m going to help you with your homework” implies a plan for later whereas “I will help you” is a more recent decision made in the moment, and as I mentioned in the video, something happening with certainty. Perhaps that’s a topic for another video so I can explain in more detail! 🤓

The difference between I will go Vs I would go.

I will go sounds more certain to happen whereas I would go express some hesitation and it's generally followed by a cause/consequence complement. For instance: I would go to the party if you invite my best friend (I will only go if my bf is also there with me)
