I relate to this on a metaphorical level. I’ve never had alcohol (and don’t plan to), but I relate to the theme of making stupid decisions and being haunted by them for the rest of your life. “I been feelin’ this awful since I hit bottom and, said ‘hand me my my shovel, i’m going in!’”
