Shoulda seen the carnage when Cata launched for the first time in retail. You were given 24-36 hours to level and by day 3 of the xpac you were raiding BWD to try for server/region firsts. It's actually why they changed future xpacs to where raids didn't unlock until a week after launch because folks were playing 48 hours straight.

Spirit automatically turns into hit rating via talents for spriest, boomkin, and ele. You dont need to reforge spirit into hit. Just clarifying.

Not spirit directly to hit, but if you use reforge lite or math out how to hit your hit caps exactly, then sometimes you need do some weird reforges, like if you have a spirit/crit piece, you might need to move the crit into hit, etc

Uhh spirit for boomkin elemental shadow don’t need to change spirit to hit via reforge they get it by taking the given talent in their tree and it changes it on a 1 to 1 spirit to spell hit

8:29 That was TBC for Enhancement (1 str = 2 ap), in Wrath it's 1 to 1 and same with agility. Feral in Wrath got 2 ap per strength but obviously agi was better because of heart of the wild etc. And then haste was best at crit cap I believe.

Here’s a tip, or some, Prot palis could solo heroic dragonsoul, towards the end, due to gear and gems, they could have over a million health, and self heal for half of that every 20 seconds, combine that with a resto Druid, and you can do anything. The end game gearing with them was REALLY Op.

Thank you, love the video! Would you ever consider doing a video of "What You've Missed If You're Returning To Cataclysm Classic"? So say if you stopped playing at the end of Classic Classic, or at the start or end of TBC, you could go through each one expansion or phase and do a recap for returning players. Everything that happened in each expansion TBC, Wrath, Cata such as a general overview of the storyline in each, what end game raids there were, what the big new features were in that expansion, what the main areas/cities were. As a returning player to Cata Classic who hasn't played since Classic Classic I feel so lost after missing out on TBC, Wrath and the start of Cata, so a video like that would be super helpful to get back up to date.

If its fun just play it. EVERYTHING will become boring to you one day. Remember when you used to play in the mud as a kid and that was exciting? Yet if you do it now youre bored as hell? Would that mean you'd rather not have played in the mud as a kid because it ended up boring? No. You play, you have fun, you make great memories, and once it's over you quit. I've been doing something similar for the past 7 years with a game I used to play in 2010 (Metin2). I play for a week at most, have fun, then when it gets boring I quit and come back next year (or whenever I feel like playing again). Also, unlike private servers this game updates. Let's say you get maxxed out in 6 months and get bored with nothing to do, you can come back 2 years later and play the next expansion.

in retrospect thing i wish i knew was, without a guild that has been together since 2019 its almost unplayable as heroic modes disbanded many guilds, we got burnt out on 6 months of p1 which could have lasted 2.5 months and still feel like too long. Healing and tanking are too easy while dps struggle to meet checks often outside of high performing guilds. healer could parse 100 while the dps are sitting around 40-60 percentile. that shows lack of tuning from original encounters which is supposed to be a balanced expierience instead of everything relying on dps. Thats what made vanilla/tbc/wotlk good was every role had a oppurtunity to shine. In cata its literally 95% reliant on dps. it is known.

Eleshamans dont need to convert spirit to hit, they get hit from spirit. " Increases your Fire, Frost and Nature damage by 3% and grants you spell hit rating equal to 100% of any Spirit gained from items or effects."

It depends here. If you have a crap weapon and can roll on a much better weapon that doesnt have the right stats, why would you? While leveling as a warrior I got a few polearms with just agility in the dungeons, simply because the 114-153 polearm was better than my 73-101 axe with +9 str. If the guy is lv 85 and has a crap lv 79 weapon or something, why not roll on the weapon with the wrong stats as long as its still an upgrade?

I think a lot of people don’t know what “pre-nerf” and “post-nerf” means for Heroics. Most of the original 4.0.6 - 4.1 dungeon changes were minor bug-fixes and tuning to boss mechanics. The heroics feel easier today because it’s not 2011 anymore. If you ignore most boss mechanics, you will still wipe your group.

@@DefianceOrDeath Eh, I wouldn’t say extremely fast unless you have a full set of heirlooms. 1-85 takes a very long time unless you just boost. Not as many people lower level like in the pre-patch. You will need at least a week at 85 to grind heroics and get your reps to revered for pre-BiS.

Wrath was also way more popular in the beginning than cata and finding groups was way easier, even with the old tool. And even when the current lfg tool in wrath was introduced, it was still easier to find a hc or alpha/beta/gamma dung in wrath than in cata. So I guess you must be trolling me, because I dont get that defensive response otherwise. Also ofc the tool takes longer for dps than healer and tank. But I have a dedicated raid team and I cant just show up with a healer or tank. Smh, these answers. Dont worry guys, I didnt look for a solution obviously. I just find it super weird that it takes so long (yes, even as dps), when the xpac is literally out for one week.

#1 just buy a tabby and grind dungeons to get gear. You're going to have to do alot of dungeons anyway because some people keep ninjalooting anything they can get their hands on. #2 Certain servers (europe) are filled with third world country ninjalooters. That goes for france. Germany. Any eastblock country. They exist to wipe your raid and steal your items. #3 There's no more team cohesion. LFD finder has ruined any reason to care about your reputation. Yes, your name. Your guild. You think you can just ninja loot shit without any reprecutions. And you can. Aslong as you never open up who you are in real life. Because the world's a realy small place. And you're on an excel sheet. #4 Wotlk and the previous expansions that forced you to work with people you might not like nor want to see ever again had a sword of damocles hanging above every single party member. Because cata's LFD and culture shift has removed this burden of your head it's going to be very hard to get into pre-raid bis gear. Dps roll for tank items. Tanks ninjaloot dps gear. Mages ninjaloot spirit gear and so on. #5 Europe has a problem. And that's we have way to many languages to speak. You're going to get removed from groups without any warning because the french will speak french. The spanish will speak spanish and the germans will speak arabic. If you're not there to boost sub humans they'll just remove you. They'll remove you right before a boss just to fuck with you. #6 Blizzard doesn't give 2 flying fucks about cata. I've filled thousands of personal reports. Name. Server. What they done. What timeframe. Nothing happends. There's blatant violations everywhere. Money trade scammers. People begging for boosts. People giving boost for gold. Nothing happends. Same goes for the rampant ninjalooting because ilvl->more ilvl, is more important than gearing up a person you'll never see again in your life. People ruined cataclysm. Not the expo itself.

Just tried cata for the first time a few days ago, so far I only played classic, wotlk and dragonflight (and will probably try tww). Cata is legit my favourite expansion so far, It has everything I ever wanted out of this game: a classic feel to it (where each level counts, your hits actually feel like they hit instead of feeling like the enemies are made of butter like on retail), and the best parts of retail for me: toys, attacking while moving, heirlooms etc. Im so glad they did cata classic instead of redoing the same content over and over again until the servers had 8 players at most on them.
