That turned out superbly William, love the idea, and look forward, as usual, to more with this jig. Hopefully see you in Coventry on Sunday. Take care Mike

There is no video of yours that I will not watch! This little machine fascinates me. I can't seem to get enough. Unfortunately my lathe is too small... who knows what Santa may bring? LOL! Many blessings to you and your Channel!

Thank you Tracey, always compliments from you. Yes, the Fluting Jig is very interesting indeed, Im only just beginning to understand its full potential. How small is your lathe?

No so challenging this one John. I needed to understand a bit more about spindle work before I risk some expensive wood! Looking forward to meeting up at the weekend John.

Thank you Jane for you kind comments. I like the concept but I believe it needs completely contrasting woods and better symmetry in terms of depth and diameter. next time eh?

Great work and fun to watch. Just wondering how thick you left the outer wall that you fluted?

Nice box been watching all your videos with this router jig been looking at getting one was wondering if you ever thought about putting it on rails with rollers seems it would take out some of the wobble
@WilliamHuntLatheCraft6 жыл бұрын
Thanks James, yes, I guess there are a number of options for this, which would be a good idea as lack of control of the router has let me down a couple of times. Ill have to think about what arrangement I could make.
@bluelineturnings50556 жыл бұрын
Don't get me wrong I've like everything you have done with the router even the fails you called I thought look pretty dam good
@WilliamHuntLatheCraft6 жыл бұрын
Believe me, there is a lot of room for improvement James! Going to give your idea some serious thought.

I'll be watching to see if you can figure out anything I have shakey hands anyway that's why I've been holding back on buying a set up like yours good luck and safe turnings

William, another very nice piece. A bit of thinking out of the box, so to speak. Very well executed. I cannot say the same for your choice of music. After about two minutes I felt like I was being subjected to a Chinese Water Torture. You do a very good commentary keep that part up and ditch the music. I would much rather hear you talk.
