I put coins in the coins-pocket of my wallet and use them whenever possible which keeps the amount resonable.

Agree. The key to good 'coin management' (can you tell I've been at this a while?) is always knowing how many and of what value coin you have.

I try to spend all my coins before my dollar bill. Great point... What about Stamps or stamp collection ?
@InternationalBigshotАй бұрын
Stamps? I'm not sure what you mean. Do I collect stamps? Only in my passport.
@Dayle-o2kАй бұрын
@@InternationalBigshot What I meant is stamps are alot lighter than coins and good value around the world I would think and better than coins? Although, I never got into collections but kinds wish I had I'm thinking when it comes to stamps... I believee and my brother once had Taiwan Cash Paper money once as US kids but we never left the US yet and probably that Taiwan cash is long lost... Or maybe it was Korean cash but long lost now... When your video it kinda took me back to the 70s when alot of people talked about collections of coins,stamps,and paper money. Today I'm 50 enjoyed this video....

Canada dropped the penny. If MY ain't gonna have a 25 Sen coin, why have a nickel? Just silly. But if that's the worst problem we face in this wonderful land...I can live with it. And, will! (S-MM2H application goes in soon.)
@InternationalBigshotАй бұрын
Good luck with SMM2H! The trouble with the 5-sen coin in Malaysia is that it's hard to use. Nobody really wants it. Street vendors never price items that would require a 5-sen coin, and in shops they frequently just round the total for convenience. Like the example I gave in the video a vendor gave me back the ones I tried to use to pay for some noodles.

Why dont u donate them to all those beggars loitering ard bukit bintang
@InternationalBigshotАй бұрын
That's just a way to get rid of the coin itself, but the beggar would find it just as non-useful as I do. My goal is to actually spend the coin somehow.

@@InternationalBigshot surely the beggar will not refuse a single monetary donation..try it!

thailand coins is more annoying.
@InternationalBigshotАй бұрын
I find Thai coins much easier to spend because of the way prices are set in Thailand. In Malaysia, as I mentioned in the video, prices usually end in '0' so the odd 5-sen coin is difficult to get rid of.
