David thanks for checking out the vid and the kind words. I try to make my vids similar to the ones I enjoy watching and am constantly striving to up the production value. Check back in a few weeks ( if not subscribed) as we revisited that exact trail last month and it was just as fast and flowing. After a summer of chunky trails it was much appreciated. I also flew the drone over the creek and burned out valley. Should be sone neat stuff - braaap!

Thanks broski! I was pretty frustrated at that point with all the snow, dead fall, and raging creeks. Felt like we were there two weeks too early. It was definitely a fun 4th gear ripper of a trail ! Thanks for watching 🙏

That creek crossing isn't bad at all now. We just rode this trail yesterday (went down it). Very flowy and fun trail! Good thing you turned around as the trail you were heading towards (Martin-Big Casino) would have been hell going up in some sections. Not sure if you've been on it but if you ever do ride that one I suggest going down it from the top. It's a rocky SOB just like the other half of it is going the opposite way towards the campground.

Yea all about timing. And yet to run Martin. I’d like to make the lookout one summer!

@@mikecolesvids Yeah we got a ton of snow over the Winter and into Spring so the creeks and rivers were insane. I think they’re finally starting to calm down. I’ll have to check out that lookout next time too.

Any words of wisdom on building a motovan? Looking for something where I can load my bike inside, sleep inside and maybe do cooking either inside or out. For one or two people. Needs to be really basic. What do you think of the Sprinter vs Transit?
@mikecolesvids Жыл бұрын
Thanks for checking out the vid, we’re 65 days from packing the van an heading west for the summer! Come back and visit if ya enjoy the content. Our van is a super simple build but bike out back. We cook 95% outside but the little butane stove is capable of being used inside if weather is bad. If ya want your machines in you’d have to tuck em under the bed perhaps and have a Murphy type bed or one that’s modular. I’ve even seen beds that raise up then lower to sleep. Or a long van to have both bed and storage. Love my Sprinter but critical of the limited dealer network (they sold too many and dealers are swamped), cost of regular service, and currently way over priced new. A Ford with that eco boost and AWD would be a great option. Good luck!
