Fantastic! We've just purchased a Magimix. I googled potato bake today and was impressed that this video showed me how so quickly and easily with this food processor. Will be using it for most of my cooking now!

Good video to introduce the functionality of the basic components. I've read several consumer reviews by people who don't realize you don't have to use the midi bowl with the discs. This makes it clear you can slice/grate into the main bowl.

Thank you for this nice presentation! Can I ask you something: I'm trying to choose the right size Magimix machine. I want to make one big salad bowl per day, including all sorts of veggies, especially: Beets, Carrots, Broccoli, Cauliflower, red cabbage, onion, etc.. Which size machine would you suggest for this purpose? The 3200, 4200 and 5200 can be used with a dicing attachment, I don't know if this is helpful for making salads. Thanks for your help!

I have been looking for a food processor/blender for ages now. I thought this would be it but she didn't show the peaks of the egg whites, and I thought a food processor is designed to also make shortcrust pastry too so it would have been nice if she demonstrated this as well. I am not too keen on plastic blades. Will keep on searching.

Question: Does this food processor replace the Super Blender from Magimix? If so, can you also use hot foods in it as well? Thank you

Is it me or she pronounces pulse differently,. Plus I didn't see the final shape of whisked eggs,. You didn't pour them out
@juanpaulr9 жыл бұрын
Another this you have to hold the pulse button to slice that is also old school. Check out the breville Sou chef.
@seikibrian86416 жыл бұрын
Actually you don't have to hold the pulse button; you can use the [On] button instead, just as with the Breville Sous Chef, the Cuisinart Custom 14, or almost any other food processor.

@@seikibrian8641 Quite right ! Indeed acting by small pulses gives more control on the result.

we bought one online came broken (crack) then we claim replace after two week we received replacement... broken not working at all, no reaction on any button
@seikibrian86419 жыл бұрын
"you have to hold the pulse button to slice" No you don't. Although she did, you can also use the [On] button for continuous slicing and shredding.

Ok, decent demo but I'm not going to dirty a FP to chop a tablespoon of herbs or mix a couple eggs with cream and pepper, the setup and washup negates any labor saved. Demonstrate it's effectiveness at tasks more useful for a FP. Such as salsa, mayo, cream cheese spreads, and thick purees. Stuff that a blender cant do and is a real workout or tedious to due manually. (The slicing was a decent demo, though the finer slicing blade for something like coleslaw is more telling of cut quality and useful because it is the most tedious with a knife. Thick slices go pretty fast with a knife.) Maybe show the maximum liquid-capacity level which tends to be much smaller than total bowl capacity on most FPs due to leaks, splashing, and the center post being much lower than the outer rim.

Great machine from the inventors of the food processor, and it’s made in France, not China…

Don't buy this. Food get out of smaller bowls in to the big bowl. Can't grind small quantities. No proper seal between the bowls so always a big wash up job. Works fine for chopping and grating large quantities

Magimix should have made the components on the s-blades and other attachments black instead of white for a more sleek and uniform look. The white just cheapens the look of the product :( honestly even though I'm a kitchenaid girl Kenwood did it best. Their stand mixers and attachment are pure class and sophiscation
