Thailand has been an interesting retirement option for me since i was 21 when I went there the first time. Been like 30 times in total. Thailand has everything to be happy. The only thing that are negatives are the language barrier and the ever-changing rules for staying long term there.

Yes I agree visa situation a bit bad but if you are above 50 you get a 1 year visa right away

Technology has moved on, if you have a smart phone just use a translation app, brilliant tool, at 60 you can apply for a retirement visa, costs around 1k, and job done no more visas

I had a studio condo in that same building. Good location, great view just like this one, decent price. Just gotta watch out for the soi dogs on the little soi from Beach road. And that pool!!!!! I miss that place.

Yes this place offers an incredible scenery from the spectacular pool but even in Thailand standard the view is hard to beat . That’s a lot of work you put in my friend. Great intro. You had the drone in the air, the camera on the bottom of the pool. Probably spent 1/2 hrs or so to film for a 20 second clip. It’s a lot of work and you are doing great we appreciate your efforts. Great videos.

I've been living in Puerto Morelos, Mexico for 2 years now. I am investigating Asia next for Liviability. I am booked for a week at tge Riviera then head to Rayong and over to Hua Hin. I have been traveling during low season to evaluate "great spots" during the crappy weather. I figure if I can handle the worst seasons I have a better sense of real world living experience. My suggestion, on helping figure out your life journey……go to South America and do ayahuasca or watchuma. It can be helpful for introspection and major life questions. The indigenous cultures have been doing these inebriates for thousands of years. It would add to your life experience and make good video too. I’ve done it, it helped me in many ways.
