I'm watching it now!! April. 6th 2024❣️😘 just before the big eclipse, on april 8th!!!! I'm so glad he was my life for it's entirety! On the hifi my mom played it often, while Dad was overseas! Willie your record on the hifi helped me realize life is a challenge, cry with your mom when she needs you to be her friend! We were in Olathe Kansas, dad was navy??? Go figure!!! He did a 3 year tour! Mom in Kansas, with 5 kids, the first 2 we were twins!!! Everytime he came home we'd have a new addition to the family!!! Mom would sit next to the hifi and play your albums all night long!!! She'd cry that dad was gone! At the time I thought she loved you more than him! Thought you'd get a kick out of that!!! Willie I've been a ever life long and beyond person that you helped me thru my hifi years with my aching heart of my mom!!! While Dad was gone!!! Thank you so much!!! Those songs helped my mom to raise us kids! She found solice in singing your songs! I don't think all your songs were out by then!!! HA!!! All I know is you are a treasure, and always in my music box! Love you forever❣️❣️❣️

One of my Dad's favorite bands was CCR. This means as a child growing in the 70's I listened to this song constantly on a loop. My father passed away on 9/18/19, and whilst watching the last episode of season 2 of Big Little Lies this version of the song started to play, and tears just started streaming down my face. What a beautiful rendition of a favorite of mine and Dad's. I can't stop listening or crying. It's a bittersweet song; it truly reminds me of my Dad in good times, and the sad day of losing him.

My big Brother was hit and killed by a drunk driver,he was 24yrs old & engaged to be married. I lost my mind as we were inseparable. He lived a month in and out of a coma,died Halloween day,after the funeral when day turned into dark,I stop @ a pay phone and called the radio station ,the sky was dark &. the stars were shining, the tears in my eyes flooded the city,I asked, could you please play, CCR, " have you ever seen the rain.", With a lump in his voice,he said, if course my dear. I had just lost my other Brother to a drunk driver 2 yrs prior. This song is one of the greatest & yes,Willie did it justice as well!

(Norwegian time kl. 15.00 ) He was a great artist in the country world, I am from Norway and I saw him 4 times in Norway and I talked with him once and he sang only for me in the streets of Drammen, after a concert he had 43 hits in the Drammen Teater, Norway. I asked him to play in a Jim Reeves album, but he nicked not, but he asked me what favorite melody I had with Jim Reeves, and I answered : "Blue Side of Lonesome" and he sang it only for me outside The Drammen Teater den 25. th. of june 2002, over 21 years ago. It was her favorite song before she lost the battling to cancer, I wish I could change the hands of time, I miss her smiles, she was always there for me and our lovely daughter, and I never miss a moment with her, life could be so unfair most times, there is some pain, I will cry in vain but won’t let you know how I will feel yes, I will miss you to the core! but some times i wonder why bad thing always happen to good people.
