You guys are making a lot of sense. You guys should try to assist clients with a design build concept. This allows the client to work with architects and consultants and contractors who work together to build a budget based on real time costs this also allows contractors to discuss designs with the design team and help them design to the clients budget. We know that sometimes this gets missed as the some design teams want to relay their vision which may be outside of the clients budget. Contractors are here and have a duty to the client however we are stuck with building per plans and of the design teams are not providing clients with accurate costs then you end up with sticker shock. Please try and have your clients enter into a design build agreement.

Thanks for this video. I know build costs have a huge range depending on many factors. If building a 2 bed concrete 2 floor structure on a 4th row, If I said $100 a sq ft can you say no chance youncan build for that. Or is that nunber $150? Is there a price per sq ft you could say is a middle ground or somewhat to be expected? Juat to give me a starting point to think about. Thanks

Really depends on the area of Belize. If you're on the mainland there are definitely extremely affordable areas but on the islands there definitely are increases in prices with tourism. We built our home at MBV with QuadLock (insulated concrete forms) and the construction is almost complete. Small home (2 bed/2 bath). It will be an 8-9 month build.

Hold up for a minute I understand real estate You have to have curb a few which could be considered a cool factor but I got the impression he was talking about the air conditioning bills is it just me did he mean the cool factor like curb appeal or did he mean the cool factor of having power to run an air conditioner constantly almost??????

Here's another question I've been here for 3 years but I'm slightly under the limit to become a citizen on my income because they raised it right after I came down if I buy real estate does that change does it make it easier to become a citizen because I did my homework and then when I finally got here they had raised the minimum rate of income for citizenship if I buy a piece of property if I can I will will it help me become a citizen is there some kind of thing there??? Do you know??? I'm not going anywhere but I need to figure out how to become a citizen other than marrying a girl here because yeah they keep raising the income rate for that otherwise I would have had it two years ago please help me if you can with any information thank you brother
