Unless this was streamed live, it was likely manually tuned just slightly. Think natural makeup look: enhancing what’s already there, hiding minor imperfections. I’m married to a local producer, and he gets sent “live” recordings to fine tune all the time. Nothing wrong with it, and it doesn’t make the music any less respectable.

I think Wllow is dope AF! I'm 45 and a huge fan of the acting talents of both of her parents and Willow def inherited that performing/musical gene. I first noticed it when she performed privately for Jada on her birthday w/Jada's old band. I was like, OK WILLOW, I SEE YOU, lol. But you can absolutely hear the vocal training she's recieved because her control is perfect as well as her pitch. This song, although COMPLETELY unintelligible lol, perhaps intentionally, is NOT easy to be executed w/o extensive vocal training. Wonderfully executed Willow! 👏🏽 ❤
