I have such big feelings
Can't shut ‘em down without a sound
I have such big feelings
Can't shut ‘em down or let ‘em out
I know I'm not fine
But yes I say I’m fine
I know I'm not fine
But yes I say
I have such big feelings
Can't shut ‘em down or let ‘em out
I have such big feelings
Can't shut ‘em down without a sound
Acceptance is the key
Acceptance gives me wings
Acceptance is the key
Acceptance gives me wings
Even with such big feelings
I have such big feelings
Can't shut ‘em down or let ‘em out
I know I have I know you have problems
I know I have I know you have problems
I know I have I know you have problems
You know I have I have big big problems
I know I have I know you have problems
I know I have I know you have
Problems, problems
Yes, I have
Problems, problems
Yes, I have
You know I'm not fine but yes I say I'm fine
You know I'm not fine but yes I say I'm fine
I got such big feelings can't shut ‘em down without a sound
I got such big feelings can't shut ‘em down or let ‘em out
Acceptance is the key
Acceptance gives me wings
Acceptance is the key
Acceptance is what I need
Cause I know you got I know I got problems
I know I got I know you got problems
I know I got I know you got problems
I know I got I know you got
Problems, problems
Yes, I have so many problems
Problems, problems
Yes, I have so many problems

Just because people use an extended vocabulary doesn't equate to maturity. They lyrics actually scream. Growing up, not yet reached maturity. Plus she's only trying to do beats and styles she's heard bbefore. It's not all too new what she's doing.

This would be a good thing for the black community. Black music has been so dumbed down for decades that they’ve lost the ability to process deeper layers. These are the same people who gave the world Jazz, gospel, r&b, Motown etc. they never should’ve allowed shitty hip hop to dominate and become their entire identity.

My bipolar heart feels so seen by this song!!! The manic episodes, the severe depression, the numb nihilism and hopelessness of not having proper mental help, having to put on a mask of "normalcy" Even the way it sounds, and the visual repetition, I swear in an age of music lacking depth and creativity this is a masterpiece that speaks to my experience even tho the song isn't specifically about it.

I mean, Jesus Christ, Willow. This is the epitome of what new music should sound like. I have listened to this probably 10 times in a row, in a trance, and this song just moves me. 10/10 Can’t wait for the album. Full speed ahead.

(By my count - yours may vary) 3/4 + 4/4 for the verses, then 4/4 for the "acceptance" bridge, then 6/8 x2 + 4/4 x2 for the chorus, with a sprinkling of 5/8 where you least expect it just to ****** with us. 🤣

It is very refreshing to hear a newer ‘pop’ artist mess about with time signatures. First “Symptom of Life” and now this. Whomever is producing and writing these tracks is doing an excellent job and must have faced a very hard sell to get this stuff approved, adopted, and made. Right on!

Came across this song on Tiktok recently and had no idea it was Willow. The artistry she's showing is out of this world and the sounds she's producing are fantastic and so, so unique. This song sort of reminds me of Serj Tankian and his songs "Lie Lie Lie" and "Sky Is Over" which are some old favourites of mine. I also really love how she looks here, especially her hair and the rose gold teeth. Absolutely stunning and excited to hear more!

She seriously needs to be recognized at the 'big' awards for actually great music she's churning out. It's just criminal that she is largely overlooked... I mean 'Symptom of LIfe' is on another level. And the others are turning out to be cohesive as well thus far...

Oh yes. I was meditating today, but meditating while in a bad mood. So many challenges for me during that meditation. As I watched,, my thoughts and FEELINGS were out of control and doing the damn thing. Big feelings. Big feelings I tried to suppress during that session. Acceptance was and is the key for me. I thought about this song and I thank Willow for giving me a BEAUTIFUL song that I and anyone else can relate to.

Yup, she is rn something like a mix of The Weeknd with Tyler The Creator and Mononeon/Jacib Collier. Glad contemporary jazz is finally being brought to the limelight, vecause its contributions to neo-soul and experimental hip hop have been severely overlooked for decades already.
