I always put a layer of pasta at the bottom of the dish first before layering any mince... Once you've cooked and portioned the lasagne, it's much easier to dish out the portions in one piece if you've got something firm for the spatula to scoop up!

When i parked my truck overnight in the motorway service i would apply gaffer tape to the number plate. and remove on exiting, never got a ticket.

I've done this a few times, pick the ones without anpr or if there are, then go inside and ask how much a night to stay is and say is it ok to put my reg number into your system so i don't get a ticket when i leave in a "minute" :D

We use Premier Inn quite a bit, a lot of the hotels are used by business men and workmen in vans etc, so during the week it is full, they even charge more for a weekday knowing business men etc will pay it.

Hi Will, They usually grab your registration info using ANPR cameras. I got a parking ticket through my door and had to prove I was staying at hotel. But I have been told that you don’t have to pay. Stay safe and happy

Private car parking tickets you just ignore. Its council issued ones you can have issues with...

@@itchyballsack6627 Yes, SO MANY people are ignorant of this fact. A private car parking ticket is an INVOICE not a FINE. Unlike a ticket issued by the council or police, which IS a fine and you should not ignore. A private car parking enforcement agency that is registered with the BPA or IPC, could issue you with a CCJ to chase the "debt" but they usualy don't bother.

Glad you're back! I stealth camp in my converted small car (UK) a I find truck stops are excellent (I used to be a long distance tramper) decent food and a shower. Also NHS hospitals are very cheap parking.. usually less than £10 for 24 hours and you can get food and have a wash:) I just put my highway jacket on and walk like I own the place:)

I usually do a little olive oil first, then the sauce then the layers of lasagne, just to help it not burn and stick to the bottom.

Here’s some places for you to try, Margery Wood, Earlswood Lakes, Brighton Race course, I’m also pretty sure Brighton Marina doesn’t have ANPR cameras, even though they say max 4 hours. Of course you could always go back to Box Hill and see how soundproof Mary is compared to the old Galaxy lol.

Excellent video. I stayed at a number of premier Inns car parks near where I was working. Stealth camped in my Kangoo van. Some idiots would park up though blaring out loud music and smoking pot until late. You have to pick your park up place carefully.

Oil the pan, two layers of noodle, then you layer it the same order as the flag: Red sauce, White sauce, Green Sauce, Red sauce, white cheese, serve topped with a fresh green garnish :) THAT or just make it up as you go which is what everyone does :)

Great to see you back on the road. I use Premier Inns all the time, when not in my van for work. The cameras normally pick up your number plate going in and out, hope you don't end up with a fine. The Autoterm heaters are the best, I've got one in my van, I love it. Have a great week x

Suspect during the segment where he asked about staying he quietly entered his reg on the machine but didn't film it. Probably grabbed a drink at the beefeater and entered a reg. I've noticed in some places where signs reference ANPR there don't actually appear to be any ANPR cameras.

As a tourist from Malaysia and Sussex student alumni , I always use premier inns. Have stayed in premier inns in London, Brighton, Eastbourne, Oxford, Glasgow, Edinburg, Inverness, Manchester, New Haven, Burgess Hill and Preston. Cheers

All the car parks at Premier Inns I’ve stayed at are run by a company called Horizon via anpr I think, so unless you get the hotel to log your number plate on the system at check-in (to waive it) or pay the parking fee for non hotel residents, you might get the fine in the post 😢. Hoping you’ve somehow beat the matrix on this one 😬!!!

I've stayed at that premier inn, we went to Legoland, stayed at a travel lodge in Kingston and then went to Chessington and then stayed in that Premier Inn and then had an all you can eat breakfast in the beefeater the next morning, both chains are clean and comfortable and i have no complaints :), well being able to open the windows would have helped back then.

ANPR cameras are usually very obvious as they’re always pointed on the entrance / exit to car parks (and look a little different to CCTV pointed towards the building and pathways). I didn’t see any on the video so fingers crossed no fine. Hopefully Premier Inn don’t watch YT as your number plate is in many! BTW: Pasta sheet on the bottom (allow you to scoop up a portion), thin layer of meat, sheet, thin layer, sheet, white sauce and cheese, but tastes the same 😂

back in 2014 I stayed with friends at a Premier hotel just in a little town down the road from Bannockburn, Scotland..as we were checking under the beds for any shoes tucked under we instead found a pair of purple lacy undies...obviously the cleaners did not do a good job of cleaning...we complained to front desk where they promptly comped us for one of us staying and gave us free breakfast boxes..came in handy for me cause I was driving around the UK in a Wicked camper that trip..

Just a small point about the 40mph limit. That is the max speed for that road, not a target, not even compulsory to travel at 40. You can do less if conditions dictate. But I would have thought you would know that?

Good campup at Leeds Bradford Airport, great parking around Yeadon Tarn next to the runway and on the viewing point right at the end of the runway just round the corner. Some more up on the Chevin road near the Royalty inn (good for grub).

At Premier Inn just walk into reception and just put your reg in on the tablet. If they ask you just tell them you forget to do it when you checked in.

I want to see you park at more hotels but specifically want to see you blag your way through free parking. Most hotels using Anpr have iPads mounted on the reception desk. Holiday inns all have them and the staff are normally useless. Reception staff can’t see if you’ve selected “guest” or “visitor”. Challenge issued…… 😂
