I thought the fact that he gave the diet a fair try was refreshing. I absolutely could never do this diet long term, but I recently became sick and couldn't hold any foods or liquids down. Fruit was one of the first solids that I could keep down. I tried veggies but my stomach couldn't handle it. For dietary reasons, I can understand why some would choose certain diets/lifestyle changes. While I'm glad that I can now eat all food groups again (cooked as well), this video did a lot of good for those who may *have* to eat this way. One of my close friends has Crohn's disease and he often has to make weird diet choices as a result. We never know why some may try to choose diet changes. Plus, some people may be eating processed foods otherwise. This may be a step in the right direction for them to take better care of their bodies. (Do I think that's the case for MOST fruitarians? No, of course not.) This is just my takeaway from the video as a Pollo-Pescetarian. My body can't handle red meat, so I receive my protein from certain food combinations that work to better absorb the nutritions you're putting in your body. I'm allergic to shellfish, but I eat finned fish just fine. I was in a car accident, so my body can only sustain so much these days. I'm not one for fads, but I appreciate it when the research has been put in. Thanks for sharing.

The cactus bear, is my favorite summer fruit, you must have got a rotten one or something and always make sure to fully peal it before eating it.

This guys is so hilarious. This is my first video watching him and I can say that I’ve been laughing this whole time. I love that he is on an only fruit diet for those amout of days. It’s a life changing experience. I recommend this to anyone seeking a detox or energy boost!

Your videos are always dope! Just a FYI when eating fruit only it’s best to eat fruits that digest well with each other, like cantaloupe and watermelon or mono eating fruits. You can scope out charts of what fruits work well. Thanks again for the rad videos

Even as a vegan (a normal vegan) I cant really imagine going fruitarian. I loved your optimism though, and your willingness to try new stuff. It says alot about you! 💚 "Eww this cactus pear is terrible." *Goes in for more...*

yes! I've been high fruit/high raw vegan for 11 years now mono fruit meals (one fruit meal) is best for digestion and satiation levels. those grapes look like muscat also most fruits at the shops (including exotic fruits) ARE NOT RIPE. that passionfruit should have been super wrinkly, almost looking bad. ripeness does really matter in terms of how sweet and satisfying a fruit will be and how well it digests. prickly pear are incredible ripe (cutting off the skin first helps rid of the bitter taste and the prickles on the outside) proper food combining and leaving your salad meal to the last meal of the day helps with digestion. i find i sleep better on raw, digestion is smooth and i have boundless energy with no caffeine. plus never worry about my weight. mental clarity and sleep is also A plus. thank you for listening to my ted talk ps. try exotic fruits in vietnam, borneo, sinapore, hawaii etc Jackfruit, durian, rambutan, mangosteen and chempedak will blow your mind. tree ripened fruits taste so much better than pre-cut shop fridge fruit ;) the end.

Just discovered your channel. My wife and I are getting ready to start trying to eat better and get ourselves in shape. I really appreciate the honest nature of your videos and how relaxed and informative they are. Also your sense of humor has almost made me spit my water out a couple times (the grapefruit joke especially). Thank you!
