Motivation to work harder ig
@mygirldarby
@mygirldarby 9 ай бұрын
@@nervonabliss this guy Will was born into wealth. You can tell by another video he did where he stayed at his parents house in his old room. He grew up in a damn mansion. Almost everyone stays within the economic class they were raised in. It's nice to say it'd all about "working hard," but it's not. It's also about opportunity, expectation, environment, educational choices, who you know, etc. It is not easy to go from living in a trailer park to living in a mansion. Someone raised in a trailer park has no clue how to live like a rich person. They see a single mom struggling, they aren't taught how to get rich because their parent has no clue how to do that. Poor people often work their asses off, but stay poor because they don't know how to achieve wealth. They've only lived poverty. It's a lot more complicated than just work hard. Almost every poor person I've ever known has been motivated to get rich.
@nervonabliss
@nervonabliss 9 ай бұрын
@@mygirldarby I've definitely noticed his parents (at least mother) are well off. But that doesn't mean we can't try to emulate his motivation for personal growth. The dude has a good work ethic. But you're right, I know all too well the effects and generational cycle stemming from poverty. But my point was, whether or not he was born rich, we can use his position as a want and try to acheive it. Can't go through life thinking you'll never achieve anything because you were given shitty hands.

This routine is ideal for those who are upper tier middle class who have their lives mostly together. I don't think this works for a majority of working class people who have to worry about making enough money to survive and have to live off of 2-3 jobs and or juggling school. Factor everything else in like kids/family obligations, long commutes, errands, etc and the majority of the day is gone. Improving the material conditions of working class people would have a better impact on their daily lives than this intricate routine. I think Andrew is a really bright guy and is doing wonders for getting people to improve themselves, but his routine shouldn't be the "bible" for how you live your life. Just making healthier diet choices, exercising, and sleeping better is good enough for most.
@cerebrum3000
@cerebrum3000 Жыл бұрын
The only issue you said is "improving the material conditions of working class people would have a better impact on their daily lives than this intricate routine" and I don't have an issue with this because I think it's wrong, on the contrary, I think what you said is correct. The issue is improving the material conditions of working class people requires a significant change in society basically whereas the intricate routine is something anyone can do to try and change their own life. For me, I work 12 hour night shifts with some 12 hour day shifts. Anywhere from 2-6 shifts a week depending on my schedule and if I pick up overtime. This schedule would be hard for me to do on a daily basis. However, what I have done is simply chosen parts of this routine that I like and feel can help me. From there I incorporate it into my life and am making a new routine which a few of the things seen in the video, but it also revolves around a 12 hour work schedule (14hr with commute and other factors). TLDR: This routine is good, but for most of us it's best to select 3-6 parts of the routine to try and incorporate into our routine. We can't rely on our governments and society to actually care about the working class. We're just seen as disposable worker ants to those higher ups sadly.

The reason Andrew doesn’t drink coffee within the first 90 minutes of waking is because the body needs this time to break down the molecule adenosine. When you drink a coffee immediately after waking, the caffeine blocks the adenosine receptors, which makes the molecule build up. And when caffeine is broken down, the receptors get overflown with adenosine, which makes you extremely tired. That’s why a lot of people get so tired in the middle of the day and grab another coffee.

5:30 I believe it's actually the adenosine, which is the stuff that makes you feel sleepy, that clears out of your system and the adenosine receptor becomes less sensitive if you don't consume caffeine too early. Then you don't have a crash.. not cortisol (which is the 'stress hormone'.
@kickgreven3921
@kickgreven3921 Жыл бұрын
Yea caffeine is an antagonist to adenosine A1 receptors, which stimulate ACh production. adenosine is not really "the stuf that makes you sleepy" however. adenosine receptors are indirectly involved though, through regulating cholinergic neurons which do influence wakefulness. And yes, cortisol is the 'stress hormone', but this is also a bit of a misleading name. Cortisol will also be a big part of regulating alertness and wakefulness throughout days that arent stressful at all.

Fun fact you are supposed to keep AG1 refrigerated. "Because AG1 contains live probiotics and whole-food sourced ingredients, it must be refrigerated after opening. This helps preserve the integrity and efficacy of the ingredients. While unopened, the hermetic seal of the packaging prevents the need for refrigeration until you're ready to open. Also, our AG1 Travel Packs are individually sealed and therefore do not need to be kept refrigerated, making them perfect for when you are on the go."

I use to be a night owl. Hated waking up early. Now that I’ve done it for two months straight, I wake up at 4am before my alarm rings. Crazy but I can’t imagine sleeping past 430am anymore. I love finishing my workout before the sunrises. Sauna by sunrise

I will say I’ve been doing 60 minutes a week of dry sauna at 180 F per week; if not more for a few months now. It’s the easiest thing in this routine to implement for me and I notice a change in my RHR (trending downward) and HRV (trending upward) I love the idea of waking up early to get sunlight, I do it if the weather is good. I noticed I was waking with the sun every day in Hawaii on vacation and I slept so good. Probably also because I was in Hawaii, but I’m willing to bet that early sun exposure had something to do with it too.

My morning routine used to be: wake up at 7, wash up, have breakfast, get dressed and go to work. My current morning routine is: wake up at 6, go for a 50' run and then do everything else as normal. I work overtime, so I'm tired enough to actually go to bed at 10pm, and the morning run helps me be more focused at work. The downside is, I've been doing this for 6 weeks and fatigue is catching up to me. Even with no lack of sleep, my muscles hurt a lot and I've been losing weight without meaning to. Hopefully, I'll get back to my old routine next week!
