In this video I finally have a free moment to concentrate on starting the Willys F 134 Engine. But first I have to get a NV4500 transmission on the bench so I can get it rebuilt for a local guy who lost 5th gear. More on this on a future video. This is a great engine with as many NOS parts in it as I had on the shelf. NOS Willys Tappets, NOS Willys Timing Gear Set, ARP head and clutch bolts, Silvolite Pistons, Clevite Main and Rod Bearings, New Valve guides in block and head, new intake and exhaust valves with a 3 angle valve job. NOS Willys Exhaust manifold, New Alternator and custom fabricated bracket, new distributor with Pertronix installed, new Pertronix epoxy filled coil, custom made plug wires with Pertonix Silicone Jacket wire, resurfaced flywheel with and NOS Ring gear installed. New clutch, pressure plate, and pilot bushing, 165 degree fail safe thermostat, silicone bypass hose, Fel Pro gasket kit, and the list goes on and on. While this engine was for sale at one point it is no longer available, I have decided to keep it for myself. This engine has a .010/.010 crankshaft, bored .020 over and is such a great engine that I will put it into one of my own projects. So many people have no idea what an engine costs I don't even want to sell it any longer.
After that a quick walk around of my new Military CJ3B. It is in rough shape but still has its correct numbers and military data plate on the dash. I am going to get this jeep into storage asap and get to it when I have the correct amount of time to restore it correctly.
