Willys Jeep fender notch and custom seat brackets part 3! In this video I tackle the passenger side seat bracket. Making a seat that locks in place but is also easily removable to access your tool box was a fun task. I’m very happy with how this turned out. It is very functional, strong, and matches the style of the Jeep. This should apply to most cj2a, cj3a, CJ3B, and early cj5’s.

Well done, a joy to watch. I would have just turned the lock pin 180 degrees. And then extended using a rod to bring the button out at the front of the seat. Then you don't have to fumble behind the seat to fold it. And because you can't drive without a top in all seasons, because then it's even harder to reach the pull button.

Jacob great seat install on the the passenger seat. Where did you get the seat latch at? I would like to have one for my 46 cj2a I am in the process of building brackets for my new bucket seats and I have been trying to figure out what was going to do for a latch .
