Omg, I was 4 when this song was released, I remember my mom having their album on a cassette tape and by the time I was 6 or 7 “hold on for one more day” was the only song I would listen to and sing to! I was totally surprised to find out that "Hold On" came out 30yrs ago. I was 13yrs old when that came out. I played that cassette tape until inside frayed and because of that it was the first CD I had ever bought and no bologna?? That CD is in my CD player at this very moment! I was listening to it at 3:30am while getting ready for work!! I LOVE WILSON PHILLIPS AND WOULD GIVE A BODY PART UP JUST TO SEE THEM IN CONCERT!! well i was i think 11 or 12 when it came out but than i'm a massive beach boys fan and even have a shit ton of beach boys boots with unreleased stuff if you are a fan check some out i'm sure there are some on you tube. there's one called get the boot i think it's a great bootleg for beach boys songs. a lot of unreleased stuff. anyways, so i knew who they were back than and Wendy was hot as hell than and she still is even in her 50's. i guess Carnie put on a lot of weight back on and it's a shame cause she had lost so much for quite a long time. she i think gets her love of food from her dad. look how heavy Brian is now and even him at his worst weight back in 1982 before he got clean he looked like shit. anyways i also love the mama's and the papa's as well. with Wilson Phillips i enjoy them too but i really don't know their music that well

I immediately loved "Hold On" and knew this group would be a powerhouse. My favorite from them was "Release Me", an amazing song with perfectly blended harmonies. Not one of them took the lead on that one, they were all the lead. Wish the second album would have been as strong, but Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Def Jam records changed the course of music and things shifted in a big way. Plus, Wendy looks incredible!
