It looks like a nice acquisition, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. I have an earlier 94AE in .44 mag. I knew about the new cross bolt safety but didn’t realize how badly it affected the lines of the receiver.

I have one just like that. I've shot it a couple hundred times, both .38 and .357 magnum. It's fun.

That is a great find, my brother has one chambered in 30-30 from the mid 1990s. I can't stand looking at it because I want one.

I bought one for a really good price at the beginning of the year, it's a lovely little target rifle just has some feeding issues at times with .38s, the main issue i have with mine is a super stiff trigger i'm guessing it was done with it being an imported gun into the UK

I got the same rifle you'll find. It's much easier if you cock back the hammer and then chamber it discharge it. Talk to hamburger back chamber it discharge it. The safety is in the handle. You have to pull it up. Wouldn't tight before it'll discharge so there is a safety but you'll find chambering that rifle and discharging. It is much faster and much easier. Good
