It's OK, somewhat in Campaign. I used the Enfield to go all the way back through the missions in Authentic however instead.

Stick the suppressor on it that reduces muzzle velocity the least, upgrade everything else to increase muzzle velocity (extended barrel, high speed mag etc), and carry match and AP ammo, and you've got something very special. The boys brake actually reduces your peak muzzle velocity as it forces you to carry subsonic ammo (you can carry match with a suppressor), and using subsonics also means you lose the guaranteed one shot vs Jagers. It's difficult to beat 88m audible range with a high enough muzzle velocity to shoot 400m+, one shot kill, a bigger target to aim for due to that insane damage, as well as fewer bullets fired = a lower chance of the trails giving up your location. It's not for speed play, and a bayonet would be nice for the trenches, but it's great at pretty much everything else.

I'd be interested in that. It's a difficult one to know the best way to use, because you can't fit a scope, several other pistols are quieter, and it doesn't have the helmet penetration of the Model D or one shot kill (vs infantry) of the revolver. Up to now it's my least favourite pistol.

This gun is a load of old rubbish lol. I mastered the stupid thing just for the sake of it, but the inability to do follow-up shots accurately at range makes it pretty pointless as a sniper's weapon, and the noise makes it impossible for stealth. I'd much rather they'd added the Carcano or Mosin Nagant...

But you don't need to do follow up shots You can literally shoot a guy in the foot at 500m and he will still die because of how high the damage is

I play a alot of Survival and loved the Carcano in SE4, but I don't know how well it would do in SE5. I usually stick to the SREM or LE in 5.
