windows 10 pro docker setup

Are there any advantages to running Docker on Windows rather than Linux?

Most prefer linux and then docker. Windows might support other things like windows inside docker but I haven't seen this used much. One thing I'm interested in is docker dev environments. I really like the idea of doing all work in a self contained setup that can run on any device. I would say this is still pretty fragmented development across mac, windows, and linux devices.
