Mate I can not wait to show you guys what I got to see today! I'll have to wait a while before I can show it but it completely cemented the reason why I want the body work on display and Not painted over.

@@The-State-of-it cool man, I'm excited to see what the BodyMods guys can do. The more cars you see and vids you watch you will notice alot of details of what you like and what you don’t for your car.

Keeping the back window sticker? Be rare as now.Take your time Mate, sold my 72 for $1600 in 2004,moved to OZ, couldn't find one here for under 10g,there are two for sale in Brisbane right now,one is 55g,the other which is the same colour as my old one,Orchid,at 65g.Hang in there Brother, it'll all be worth it, and don't let it go.

Hi, yeah definitely keeping the sticker, the Statesman would have been parked in the pits most times. Nothing remains of that track now, the lights, spectator banks, all contoured back into paddock. Pushing ahead slowly, next video is done, will upload soon, first of the new metal going in so progress! Will certainly be hanging on to this car.

Hey Mate, what running gear will you be going with.I was fortunate to have a low km reco'd 308 with hardened valve seats to take unleaded fuel, ran well on 91 but didn't like the higher octane, tuning I guess.Awesome Channel, thank you

Thanks, just uploaded another video if you get a chance to watch. Willl be all standard, 308, trimatic gearbox. See how that goes for a bit and maybe look at giving it a bit more grunt later on.

If you don’t have that special tool for removing the screens, there’s a thin wire that goes all the way around the original rubber and is “open” around about middle bottom of the screen. Get 2 pieces of wire and attach to the ends of the wire around the screen and the other ends to a 12 volt battery and heat up the wire and that softens the rubber. Windscreen will come out… Cheers

It did have that bit of wire, cheers for the tip 👍
