Nice. This should further help reduce outside smells from entering. So long fertilizer plant doo doo smells! I know this will help bc i had a 1.5” circular cap off of the cowl on my BMW and smells were entering the cabin easily Also, probably helps with the moisture ingress causing my windows to fog up and car to smell like mildew unless i leave a desiccant in the car

The cowl on my 2012 dodge grand minivan disintegrated further after installing new windshield. Dealership wants $360 for the entire cowl. I will try this and report back. Thanks for sharing!

My 2012 V6 Ford mustang has the exact same issue. I was able to locate the specific part for it (Part #: AR3Z16740A) and order from Ford. Was only $24. What's weird is that the rubber weather stripping (as originally installed) is permanently attached to the Cowl whereas this replacement is separate and has the same pinch/groove install method. I'll be installing in a few days once it comes in and report back!

@@igsgarage That's insane. I saw on Amazon they've got some generic stuff that you can trim to size. That might be a viable solution if OEM is too pricy.

You probably need to replace your ignition switch. And check the wiring for a short.

Just don't forget this cowl is not designed to repel water coming down your windshield..

It does. The OEM is very tight to the glass, the water will go over it.

@@igsgarage it repels big water flow but some amount of water will go under cowl anyway. It is not designed to be 100% waterproof

The corner took some patience. And it has held up pretty good. Hot Sommer and snow/ice winter. One thing I should have done is also paint it while I had it off
