I always add my colouring to the cream first, it mixes through much easier and then you are not overworking the chocolate.

White chocolate is actually a Cream color so adding some White to it first helps the colorants to develop their true color

You are not supposed to add liquid or gel colors to chocolate. It causes it to seize and thicken and color does not mix in to high fat content. You have to use oil based food colorings such as americolor candy colors. Or use americolor FLO-COAT mixed with gel food coloring.

Hi I am adding the food color to the cream and then the colored hot cream to the chocolate that is way more vibrant try it

Hi, Unfortunately not. Due to the nature of chocolate it needs to be one that is specialised for colouring chocolate ie. oil based. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

You don’t cream you can simply create a drip using just melted chocolate, it actually gives a much nicer finish too and not as much hassle.
