I have had similar experience adapating to Estonia. It's interesting. But people will open up when they get to know you .

Das mit der mangelnden Kontaktfreudigkeit bezüglich Smalltalk kann ich als Wiener bestätigen. Und auf der Hauptallee im Prater habe ich mir schon oft das Selbe gedacht, wie du. Obwohl viele sogar beim langsamen Joggen miteinander reden könnten, tun sie es nicht. Alleine laufen zu gehen in Wien, ist wohl für nicht wenige eine einsame Sportart.

The comments disappeared on the other video, but we're living in Vienna, Austria now. Part of the reason we left was that Vienna had a better living opportunity for us. There's some personal stuff too, but not sharing that online. The housing crisis was definitely one of the reasons.
