Fairy wren instead of eggs (I think you may have missed the egg on the penguin) But I think better yet is to play the fairy wren on the second to last turn, so you can react on the last turn. If they had spent their nectar in the forest instead of playing the spoonbill, you should lay eggs instead of playing the penguin.

play fairywren with nectar instead of throwing for eggs, still ties nectar, you get the 2 eggs back from playing it and ethologist +2 is worth more than 1 ruff tuck

Well played game! Pink powers always so crucial to compete with raven. I was surprised FoxJoke did not play Bobwhite with that engine. I think if they go Bobwhite instead of Eagle and save that for Gould's Finch ability, they likely win at least one other Nectar habitat.

Would have kept the hummingbird for wetland to grab something without bowl nest. Plus it's a 6 point bomb.

Brilliant game as usual. You’re great! Keep it up! Question though… Why not keep the hummingbird and warbler? I’m a simpleton and just see it as 1 food for 6 points with omnivore; and then 2 food for 8 points with the warbler, both could’ve gone in grasslands to get 4 points with eggs that way, and more seeds for the sparrow in case? But I also dislike the draw 1 bonus cards and never would’ve kept bustard.

Playing each is also a loss of 2 points (grackle) or 1 point and a card cycle (ruff).

Picking up Ruff when you were eating a card every time you go to the forest and had no plans on drawing other cards seems like a not particularly inspired way of spending a turn.
