Its hilarious how broken the trait is right now because its bugged, and no one has been talking about it because the console overshadowed it. The trait literally resets the cooldown of your universal consoles completely when you activate a hull heal.

@@gausssto570 Of course not, as the bug most certainly will not last. Nevertheless it is funny to mention how the console's bugged state got a lot more attention from the community when the bugged trait can be argued to be more broken. Wouldn't hurt too much to talk about it in a comments section.

Its the best in the bundle because of the console/pets/trait(broken). NOT for the actual ship.

The eng heavy consoles make it a great hanger banger. Good for lazy gameplay where your not really worried about top performance but want to contribute DPS from distance without TO MUCH thought .

I have to disagree here Gauss. The Ahwahnee is more than capable to do elite content and patrols if built right. And i have absolutely no problem using it to level alts, it's more than strong enough for every type of content. But yeah, it's pretty much a DEWSCI/pet platform. Build it heavily on EPG/control and pet focus with strong buffing/debuffing capabilities, with weapons as supplementaries (Tetryon with the Tholian event set works particularly good!) and you'll do just fine and always be useful.

With only a 3-3 weapon layout, I thought tha Ahwahnee would be a bit lackluster... however, I'm enoying the hell out of it. The only negative is that the damned thing has no brakes, lol. But I do really enjoy flying this ship!

2:00 you forgot about Hangar craft power transmission advanced engineering consoles. Boost your pets and personal damage with all those engineering slot. It's a full carrier and you play to that.

I generally use the hangar craft consoles with the [EPG] mod for these types of carriers. Not like the weapons do much as a 3/3 anyway, might as well charge the deflector and juice the pets at the same time.

We purchased this ship : With a console that may/may not be broken. With a Trait that may/may not be broken. With pets that may/may not be broken. If we were to talk to an outsider looking in ... , I wonder what would they say about us at this point ? For me this bundle was very much representative of Cryptic at the moment. Broken , petty (see the bonus ship as one more middle finger by one or more departing Dev's) , and manipulative ... in a way that all of the deeps obsessed content creators can't see , because all they see is their addiction -- power . Yet from a mid player's perspective, this bundle hasn't been that at all . Instead ... -- looking at things from a Dev's point of view -- it came hand in hand with something else that happened in the game, something that was introduced as well . Something that was intended to make things easier ... NOT for the deeps chasers ... , but for everyone else who thought to dip their toes into this new change . What the deeps chasers got were things that (for them) made Elite STF's even more like Advanced / Easy runs are ... for everyone else . What everyone else got was (supposedly) pets with a lot of debuff and traits that offered more Haste -- everything (apart from endurance) that can make an Elite run go easier for the majority of the non deeps chasing crowd . I'm too tired right now to remember which accessories are broken and how, but since you didn't mention that while being next to the game, I won't feel too guilty . I remember the console keeping me in RA for way too long and the Trait messing up both consoles and Aux2Batt and the shuttle Pets not actually have Beta 3 (the last is second hand info) . Truly the best bundle and the best purchase all around . And the players love it ! (Al Rivera)

If you have it set up like Nic does. Often, when I do randoms, I'm far and away the highest DPS. If I had gone in with a support build, it would be wasted half the time and take longer than just doing dps myself.

Totally disagree. As an exclusive carrier player myself and a mostly solo player. This ship, it's pets, console , and trait have provided a SIGNIFICANT boost to the CARRIER playstyle. I can manage pugs just fine and solo content. Not everyone has to be a top 1% player and you do NOT need to do 1 million DPS to play this game. Carriers are a different play style. Why can reviews not respect the playstyle?

it's not even about dps bro, i'm not a dps chaser, infact, i don't login enough i missed alot of good stuff. it's about not wasting precious t6 coupon on a ship i can't even use on random run (that's the only way i play) just because the console is meta. i need ship that can carry me, help me farm so i can build my account

People can and do use this ship on random runs, as stated by others below. But also, if you only want to buy a ship for random elite TFO's that's fine, you do you. but there is other content in the game and other reasons to play.
