Man that was a dadburn mule, Elmoooooooooo!!! Woooooooo I forgot how much I loved these older videos!

To me, that is the pure essence of fishing, playing the fish in. That is the total sum of it all. Big fish, or small, I never winch a fish in, I play it in. The memory of a fishing trip is always the fight of a fish, any fish. I get almost as much pleasure,....almost, watching you play a fish to the boat. Be it bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill, or shiner, it just does not get any better. As Elmo says " Go fishing when you can, cause it`s good for yu!"

09:52 What a hawg! Nice! And ANOTHER brute at 12:10! Wow, another BIG one at 15:22. That's the equivalent of hitting three dingers in one game.

Good video, nobody can convence me that there is any better way of producing a big Bass bite, than to use live bait ! The biggest most healthy fish that I have caught thus far has been caught in a live Blue gill. I would rather spend a few $'s on a can of worms to catch some hand size Bluegill for bait than to spend $100's on lures. Nice Fishing buddy .

Hey Richard, get u some swimming noodles cut them half way through length wise and put them on your top rim of boat. It will keep the concrete wall from scratching your boat. I fish there alot. If u get bored take a Boat ride under the dam. Some people dont know how big it is under there. Great video Thanks

Great fishing trip, I wish you'd of had a scale too man. That fish looked hefty. My visual guess was 8 plus? It's a beautiful thing watching you, "Let He'm Go" That fish looked like it has the genes to be a record size fish one day, and it's cool to think Gene The Fishing Machine touched him and helped him along the way. In Alabama too no less. That is the beauty of the catch and release. Your video's always make me want to get out on the water. I"m a big fan and appreciate all you do to teach and inform and make fishing fun. I have a real hard time detecting strikes when I fish lures that aren't top water. Any tips for how to know when a fish has bit?
