What's your favorite hot drink on a cold snowy day?
@tedandtinasadventures.92252 жыл бұрын
Coffee and bourbon.
@leannamartinez69362 жыл бұрын
It depends on the occasion😬 normally coffee or hot tea, but if I’m feeling festive, hot chocolate with Baileys topped with whipped cream😋

My favorite hot drink is green tea, with ginger, lemon, cinnamon and cloves. It’s so soothing and very delicious 😋

I would have brought you one anyway. I will be happy for you when those sponsors start rolling in. Maybe you can make some popcorn and watch it's a wonderful life. Thanks again for sharing your special adventures. See you next time. 🙂

And with the Sawsall you can use either long regular wood blades or the long pruning blades made for limb cutting but I have used them to cut down small to medium trees. They are a little harder to find but they are out there. Glad you enjoyed the idea.

JAY LEGERE makes a great point...if you sleep on a cot, allows for storage under the cot. The wood stove looks real good. I love that tent peg removal tool.
@2withnature2 жыл бұрын
We agree with that, we just got cots. We were looking for a good double for a while but none looked great so we got two singles and will try them out this weekend. After using this wood stove it's hard to go back to our small titanium stove. If it's a 1 or 2 person tent it works but not for anything larger than that. Here's what we used for the tent pegs amzn.to/3F9rnmh thanks for checking out the video Mike.

@@2withnature My wife and I always had the sleeping bag like a comforter because I was warm and she was cold and she would steal my heat. Sometimes I almost had a heart attack from those ice block hands. You two are no slouches, braving the cold and snow in a tent...smart having the wood stove.

Have a question for ya on the tent stakes - have you tried the screw in tent stakes for windy weather? They were a game changer for me. Y'all bring back so many good memories of snow camping... 😊 Thank you!
@2withnature2 жыл бұрын
We've never tried them. Are they corkscrew shaped or are they large threaded screws? Snow camping is a lot of fun, it's our pleasure 🙂
@hshalom91132 жыл бұрын
@@2withnature Hi 🙋 They screw in with a drill. If you ever camp in super windy areas, you might look into them. Here in the desert, lots of tent nails & pegs don't hold well even if you can get them in the clay dirt.
@2withnature2 жыл бұрын
I'll have to check them out. They sound easier than the 18" stakes I've got for nasty weather

What kind of tent is that look like there is plenty of room for the both of you
@2withnature2 жыл бұрын
It's a Kodiak Canvas 10x10 cabin tent. It's the perfect size for us with this stove.
@jamesstephenson853910 ай бұрын
I know it sounds stupid but I think I would carry a battery powered Sawsall with a long pruning blade to cut those trees into short lengths for the stove.
@2withnature10 ай бұрын
That's actually a really great idea. I often think that lugging around a chainsaw is too heavy for such a small amount of cutting but a sawzall is a great compromise. I'll probably use that occasionally.
