Great knowledge grenades brother - the shelter door is genius! I reminds me of when my family lived in military base housing growing up - we had a garage with no garage door (none of the houses did) so my father built one like yours out of a huge OD green canvas tarp and a two by four! Lol Also dig your method of extinguishing your fire pit, as not to flood it out. Awesome, we will have to practice your method when we get outdoors. Congratulations on doing gear reviews! Very cool! Keep up the awesomeness brother - the boys missed Freja but love seeing all the snow in your camp 🏕🍻🇸🇪🇺🇸

Thank you brother, much appreciated as always. Okay nice 😁 Yeah it's a great little hack. We always use them in the armed forces when sleeping in tents and shelters with a fire going. Freja will join me on a trip tomorrow to friday, we'll build a small new shelter on a location close by and Emma and our new dog will join us on an overnighter in the shelter friday to Saturday. Wow, it must've been very cold. The log cabin is a wonderful project. Now that it's complete, all you have to do, everytime, you camp out, is collect firewood and do other chores because a shelter is already there, secured... happy new year to you, your family and your fans. Thank you, my friend! It was not that cold this trip, approximately -5C. I'll go up to northern Sweden for some colder temperatures soon :D Thank you, yes it's almost done, there are still a few improvements left to do but I think that will have to be a later project. Nice shelter. I think you missed an opportunity with the green tarp - a piece of translucent plastic would allow radiation from your fire to heat the shelter, and let in external light as well.
