It was a great place to spend a month in winter. And the short but steep hike up to our place was totally worth it for that view! 😆

How exciting!! And the world is a surprisingly small place, so you never know where we might meet! We just ran into some famous KZbinrs ourselves, Amelia and JP, here in Montenegro just out on the street. They were super nice. We know them for their Ecuador content so I wouldn’t have expected to see them here, but you just never know who you’ll come across.

Nice informative video. I've been hearing so much about Albania and I think you've sold me on it, certainly Saranda. I'm thinking about going there in late September and really looking forward to it. Appreciate your tips and suggestions! The one about flying into Corfu and taking the ferry over is something I wouldn't have thought of. Safe travels!

Great to know, Albania is high in our plans for next winter. How common are the wet bathrooms? We're not fans.

I haven't thought about it, but is anyone a fan? I've never seen the appeal either except maybe as a space issue. 😆 In any case, most of the places we looked at had shower curtains. No idea why this one didn't, but the other advantages of the apartment made it worth it and it is still the one we chose.

I love it when gay couples visit and live in Albania. So other gay people can see that it is safe here, I read a lot that LGBT people are scared to travel here, from a gay Albanian.

Thank you for the message! We spent two months in Albania and did not experience any safety issues at all. We didn't come to make political statements, but as far as just living your life, we certainly felt very comfortable and wouldn't hesitate to come back. I hope you are doing well!

@@tendegreeswarmer exactly I traveled with my foreign boyfriend, king bed room in Saranda in the summer. I didn’t feel any disrespect from the staff of the hotel. It was clear we were boyfriends.

@@User12345fan That's great to hear! As foreigners I think we tend to get a lot of leeway, and people don't really pay much attention. But that's great that you, who would probably notice if there was underlying disrespect, didn't feel any. 👍

@@tendegreeswarmer yes if that happened 10 years ago, it would’ve been a huge problem. Things are changing especially in the more touristy areas, now people have seen diversity and they will start to accept it.
