Winter Night Time Mountain Walking : Should the dark and cold stop us adventuring?

In recent years I have realised that the arrival of cold, dark Winter nights and weather should not necessarily stop us adventuring in the mountains. Life in the UK is so often dictated by the weather and the seasons, but is it possible for us to keep doing the things we love by having the right kit, knowledge and skills? Absolutely! This was a quick blast up to Y Gribin on the Glyders to get up into the snow before the inevitable thaw.
